Highlights
“Curran” skill set pops in live action. The first thing noticed was his quickness and ability to change direction to make defenders miss. Shows mental and physical toughness that helps overcome his 5’9″ height size. He shows good athleticism and always fights for (YAC) the yards after catch. Has flexibility to lay out for the catch. He does a nice job in jet sweep reading the alley, and making the cut upfield when needed. Has speed and it definitely shows.
“Freel is illusive and usually makes the first defender miss when carrying the ball in open field. He is real patient in toss sweep runs He allows his blockers to get in front of him to open the perimeter so he can cut up field for positive gains. He runs with a purpose and doesn’t go down easily. Shows good balance in his runs and also uses a good stiff arm when needed. He has good speed. On defense he is physical and fills gaps quickly. A reliable tackler who shows good reaction time in zone coverages.
“Scalzi” is a dual threat who is very hard to contain. He has the patience to let his receivers get downfield to find the open soft spots. If the plays breaks down, he can use his feet to get the positive yardage. Basically he has a skill set to make things happen out of nothing. His accuracy is good and he can throw dimes. His is a athlete by nature and seems to have fun playing the game. Showed good command presence on offense the entire game.
