This information is very good and helps us follow young athletes into their future play while exposing their talents along the way. This is our 1st feature regarding New England Freshman (c/o2026) earning Varsity time this fall season. These freshman recruits have grabbed the attention of their Varsity High School Coach and staff for their talents. Special talents that can be brought to a higher level to contribute. The following recruits listed are in no specific order or ranked yet by Pre-redzone.
Drinkwater” has already broken the Varsity lineup and he is showing why he is on the field. He shows a competitive effort, fearlessness, and confidence in his skill set. He checks many pure athletic boxes. Has very good agility, balance, change of direction skills. His hip flexibility, knee bending, and body quickness are also visible at a high level. His lateral movement ability and leaping ability are easily noticed on film. Shows early D1 skill set. Very high ceiling for this young man.
Highlights
“Lopez” is an athletic QB who shows command presence and knowledge of the game at a young age. He can make throws under pressure. He can escape and make plays with his arm and feet. Shows his ability to throw on the run, to make plays after protection breaks down and displays early arm talent to play at the next level. He can get rid of the ball quickly when needed. He is the teams starter on Varsity.
Highlights
“Snoonian” was seen in a live setting early this season. He is coming off a season where he saw varsity action as an 8th grader. The freshman showed he belonged once again this year. Lined up as WR he was a big target. He has good hands and will high top the ball if needed. He squares his shoulders while moving his feet when blocking on the perimeter. His rout running was crisp as he was able to get separation from his defender. He is a recruit who will see college interest increase after this season.
“Rodriguez” is a special talent. He already has power 5 offers and when you watch his film, one can easily see why. His hands and catching ability are special. His play speed and tempo are of D1 quality. He has toughness displayed. He works for yards after the catch. Has ability to separate and he is dependable. Playmaking ability is superior. He shows passion to the game with confidence of his skills.
“Lynch” is a freaky freshman with high-level expectations. We saw him play in a live set last weekend. He plays both RB and DB. His body frame is solid, lean, and athletic. Watching him play one can easily tell he belongs playing at the varsity level. As a DB he his good in man coverage. His speed pops and his agilities and versatility are of high caliber. He is aggressive and will deliver the boom when he reacts to ball carrier. Once he identifies run he has a superior burst to come up and make the play. He is also a very good RB on offense with good vision and speed to get to the outside perimeter. Projected and on track to be a D1 recruit after all said and done in his high school varsity career.
