Time is winding down and teams are smelling the playoffs. It is time to lock in. If you aren't pumped to play during this time of the season you probably won't get there. Energies are vibrating high every Friday night. The time is now.

Starkville

The Yellowjackets started the season off very hot. They won a close game against Louisville, but ever since things have turned the other way. The Jackets have been playing very close games, but just can't seem to come out with a victory since week four. They still have their explosive offense with [player_tooltip player_id='273258' first='Trey' last='Petty'] at quarterback back. [player_tooltip player_id='340821' first='Jaylon' last='York'] is still on the team along with [player_tooltip player_id='139597' first='Braylon' last='Burnside']. Their defense is still being lead by Eric Thomas. They just got to lock it down and play ball.

Oxford

The Chargers are seeing themselves face adversity. The season hasn't been going in the direction they need it to. They have a lot of talent in [player_tooltip player_id='106161' first='Mack' last='Howard'], Roman Gregory and more on offense, but things just haven't been going their way. Their defense is still being lead by [player_tooltip player_id='106769' first='Alex' last='Sanford'] and more. They play Starkville this Friday and this is a critical game. The Little Egg Bowl means a lot this year so we can expect to see a very good game.

Choctaw Central

Choctaw Central has been playing some decent ball this year. They are looking for guys like Keyshawn Ben to step up and lead the team. He is only a sophomore, but they have to find a way to make sure this kid is getting the ball. Games aren't easily won at this time of the year. Their defense is going to need to find a way to make some stops and not give up a lot of points. It's crunch time and they need to be ready to bite down the last two weeks.

Choctaw County

Choctaw County hasn't lost a game by over eight points since their 40-29 week one loss to Winona. They have a very good team and are loaded with talent. KJ Cork is a freshman at quarterback who has been doing a good job this season. In these last two weeks he has got to find a way to stay consistent and get the ball to his receivers. [player_tooltip player_id='350948' first='Caleb' last='Cunningham'] has been receiving a lot of double and even triple team action a lot. They need to find a way to break that up. Anthony Kennedy needs to be going for over one hundred yards these next two weeks. Calvin Roberts has to make sure he is being the senior leader his team needs on defense. Like I mentioned earlier in this article, time is critical. You have to go all out and that is what the Chargers need to do in order to make the playoffs.
