Helm was responsible for 3 total touchdowns in the contest, and he did so both through the air, in the pass game, and on the ground, in the rush attack. He was extremely efficient throwing the ball, as he went 3/5 with 132 yards and 2 touchdowns with a 143.8 overall QBR, and he also bulldozed his way into the end-zone for a score on a quarterback sneak on the one yard line. Mungo Jr led the Lions in carries, with 8 in the game, and he averaged about 10 yards per carry with those touches. He finished the contest with 82 yards and, while he didn't score, he broke free for a 47 yard run which was the longest overall for either team in the game. He racked up more than 150 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries in this contest, and he also added 78 yards passing and a touchdown through the air. Even though Bishop Ireton fell short to Carroll, Diallo's standout performance should be very reassuring for the Cardinals' program, and there's no doubt in my mind that Bishop Ireton has a very bright future with Omar Diallo under center. He clearly developed great chemistry with his quarterback, Omar Diallo, during the offseason, and this young quarterback-receiver tandem will only improve as the season moves forward. Milewski's play is at an impressive level right now, and the fact that he has three more seasons to gain experience and develop is truly exciting.
