Austin has been a serviceable athlete for Scott Central this year. He has had a healthy completion rate with a decent TD-to-INT ratio. so far this season Goss has thrown for near 1,500 yards averaging close to 200 yards per game in the air. This is quite impressive as Austin had some years away from football but nevertheless, he came back ready to compete. His arm talent is a huge reason why his team is 6-2 for the season. He could be an impactful QB at the next level if given the opportunity. His scrambling ability adds to his value as he can make teams pay if they drop too many in coverage or leave an unattended receiver. If his team makes it to the playoffs he will be one of the reasons why.
Marquavious Bradford, 5-5 160 MLB Class of 2025
Bradford is a productive Linebacker who is often overlooked due to his size. Despite his size, Bradford continues to be an electric playmaker. He continually makes plays on the football. He does this by making quick accurate reads and reacting accordingly. Due to his play style, he has been named the top defensive athlete on the team and he is doing this as a sophomore. It will be interesting to see how he improves throughout his high school career. If he continues to improve his reading and perhaps gain some size he would prove to be an excellent prospect.
Jarvez Ficklin, 5-8 165 RB Class of 2023
Jarvez has made the most of every opportunity by averaging over 7 yards per carry. He is an excellent back who can break tackles for big gains. Due to the production of his team’s pass game, he does not get to carry the ball often but nevertheless, he still gains near 100 yards per contest. He is a bit undersized but plays as if he is 6-0 and 200 pounds. He doesn’t shy away from contact and runs with patience to ensure that his team is in an excellent position to win. He would make a good role player for many next-level teams.
