<p>I was on the sidelines for the Week 9 game between Rolesville and Wake Forest. A rivalry matchup between two ranked teams and both teams were undefeated in conference play. The outcome of the game was decided on last the offensive series. The players listed performances caught my attention throughout the game.</p>

<p><strong>Rolesville</strong></p>

<p><strong>Myles Horne - QB, 5'11" 180</strong>. Myles displayed patience while under pressure while in the pocket. He displayed good accuracy on the short-range passes. There was good velocity on the passes that were thrown. Myles will continue to improve his skillset as he gains playing experience.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='117630' first='Isaiah' last='Jones'] - RB, 5'10" 185 (No. 4 RB, No. 36 Overall)</strong>. Isiah displayed good balance and vision while following blockers to find an opening to gain yards. He displayed speed while accelerating past defenders to gain yardage. Isiah is a tough, durable runner who can run inside with power and possess the speed to run outside. </p>

<p><strong>Devon Thomas - RB, 5'8" 190</strong>. Devon displayed good speed and the ability to change direction quickly. He is a power runner who takes on contact and continues to lean forward for additional yardage. Devon is a talented, young running back with a high upside.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='293255' first='Tamarcus' last='Cooley'] - WR, 6'1" 185 (No. 1 DB, No. 4 Overall)</strong>. Tamarcus plays on both sides of the ball for his team. He runs good pass routes and good separation from defenders to make catches. He does not go down after initial contact is made. Tamarcus made a highlight reel one-handed catch along the sideline. The multi-talented NC State commit had impressive offensive and defensive performances throughout the game. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='126936' first='Noah' last='Rogers'] - WR, 6'2" 190 (No. 1 WR, No. 1 Overall)</strong>. Noah ran defined pass routes and defined separation from defenders to make catches. He is a gifted receiver who is very difficult to defend in man-coverage. He displayed the ability to accelerate past defenders after making the catch to gain yardage. The Ohio State commit had impressive offensive performances throughout the game. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='371954' first='Jakobe' last='Campbell'] - T, 6'4" 275 (No. 19 OL, No. 120 Overall)</strong>. Jakobe displayed good technique and footwork to control defenders while opening lanes for the running backs. He displayed upper body strength and quickness to drive-block defenders out of the play. Jakobe displayed a good base while protecting the quarterback on passing plays.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='370189' first='Carsten' last='Casady'] - T, 6'6" 280 (No. 40 DL, No. 327 Overall)</strong>. Carsten plays on both sides of the ball for his team. Carsten displayed good technique and footwork to control defenders while opening lanes for the running backs. He displayed upper body strength and quickness to drive-block defenders out of the play. The Connecticut commit displayed a good base while protecting the quarterback on passing plays. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='287829' first='Gavin' last='Marks'] - C, 6'2" 275 (No. 4 OL, No. 11 Overall)</strong>. Gavin displayed good technique and footwork to control defenders while opening lanes for the running backs. He displayed upper body strength and quickness to drive-block defenders out of the play. He displays the ability to quickly make contact with defenders and control much larger defenders. Gavin is the top center in the 2025 class in the state.</p>

<p><strong>Logan Pulley - T, 6'4" 230</strong>. Logan displayed good technique and footwork to control defenders while opening lanes for the running backs. He displayed upper body strength and quickness to drive-block defenders out of the play. The talented young offensive lineman has a high upside.</p>

<p><strong>Wake Forest</strong></p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='445772' first='Kavon' last='Simmons'] - QB, 6'1" 155</strong>. Kavon displayed leadership as he directed the offensive unit throughout the game. He displayed good accuracy on short-range passes. He displayed speed and quickness to elude tacklers while running the plays. Kavon remained calm while under pressure in the pocket. Kavon completed 6 of 17 passes for 113 yards.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='144702' first='Mikey' last='DiPasquale'] - RB, 5'10" 195 (No. 9 RB, No. 42 Overall)</strong>. Mikey is a power runner who is running at full speed when he reaches the line of scrimmage. He displayed great balance and does not go down after initial contact is made. Mikey falls forward for additional yardage while being tackled. He displayed good hands on the catches made on passing plays. Mikey is a workhorse running back with a high number of carries each game. He finished the game with 80 yards on 17 carries and 2 TDs.</p>

<p><strong>Rico Alston - RB, 6'0" 170</strong>. Rico displayed good balance and vision while running inside for tough yardage. He is a durable and tough running back who can run inside and the speed to accelerate past defenders in the open field.</p>

<p><strong>Quay Armston - RB, 5'10" 190</strong>. Quay displayed good balance and vision while following blockers to find openings to gain yards. He finished the game with 51 yards on 5 carries and 1 TD.</p>
