With the number of prospects taking visits and scholarship offers going out to a number of recruits this week, we are going to kick our weekend off with some recruiting news.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='354610' first='Blake' last='Hegwood']-Wide Receiver-Pine Bluff-2023</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Zebras of Pine Bluff never fail to produce talented football players and that is true with [player_tooltip player_id='354610' first='Blake' last='Hegwood']. Hegwood has the speed and the hands to create plenty of problems for opposing defenses in the passing game. He picked up a scholarship offer from Graceland University earlier in the week. Hegwood is a talented wide receiver with the talent to play on Saturdays in the future.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='149539' first='Hunter' last='Marshall']-Offensive Line-Farmington-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The state of Arkansas is blessed with some talented prospects at the center position. One of the most talented centers in the state calls Farmington home. Marshall is a center that has quick feet and is extremely strong. The snaps he delivers to the quarterback are impressive and he is an intelligent player. Marshall is paying a visit to Central Arkansas this weekend. He is another prospect with the potential to play on Saturdays in the future.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Karter Sanders-Offensive Line-Benton-2023</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Arkansas has been a state that has no problem producing quality offensive linemen. Karter Sanders is another talented offensive lineman for the Benton Panthers. He has tremendous versatility and can play multiple positions along the offensive line. Sanders is quick out of the stance and does a very good job getting into the opposing defensive lineman. He is paying a visit to Arkansas Tech this weekend. He is a prospect with the talent to play on Saturdays in the future.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='283398' first='Quentin' last='Murphy']-Quarterback-Joe T. Robinson-2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='283398' first='Quentin' last='Murphy'] is a prospect that is blowing up from a recruiting perspective this season. He is a quarterback that makes good decisions with the football. Murphy's arm strength is impressive, and he has a quick release. He has great instincts and knows when to escape the pocket and use his legs to pick up yardage on the ground. It should come as no surprise that the Robinson signal caller picked up a scholarship offer this week from Mississippi State University.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='149571' first='Walker' last='White']-Quarterback-Little Rock Christian-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We have discussed Little Rock Christian's [player_tooltip player_id='149571' first='Walker' last='White'] several times this season. White does a great job of extending the play and making good decisions with the football. He has good arm strength and the impressive accuracy to go along with it. White is tremendous using his legs and can extend drives by using his legs to pick up yardage. The Alabama Crimson Tide extended a scholarship offer earlier this week to the talented Little Rock Christian signal caller.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='135689' first='Carson' last='Morgan']-Running Back-Bentonville West-2023</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The SEC scholarship offers have been flying in the Natural State over the past week. Morgan is a prospect that can run the ball between the tackles or cut it to the outside and use his speed along the sidelines. He is a dangerous wide receiver out of the backfield and is a nightmare for opposing linebackers to attempt to cover. Morgan earned a scholarship offer from the Missouri Tigers earlier in the week and congratulations go out to the talented Bentonville West Wolverine.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='465861' first='Jordon' last='Harris']-Tight End-Pine Bluff-2023</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Harris is one of those prospects that you can play all over the field and he will excel at every position. On the offensive side of the ball, he handles the tight end position well. He is a powerful blocker and has the soft hands needed to haul in receptions. Meanwhile, from the defensive perspective, Harris is a nightmare to block for opposing offensive linemen. Harris has the power and speed mix to cause plenty of problems for opposing linemen. Fields is a powerhouse for the Pine Bluff Zebras. He can overpower opposing defensive linemen at either the center or the guard position. Fields is always looking to get into the second level and block a defensive back or linebacker. He picked up a scholarship offer from Arkansas Tech earlier in the week.
