Suntarine serves as one of the Lions’ two-headed running back attacks. Perkins has reached the endzone 10 times this year while breaking tackles and utilizing his breakaway speed to make defenders pay. He averages a high 11 yards per carry and does an excellent job of finding the open gap. In situations where the circumstances are not ideal, he serves as an eraser who can make positive yardage out of broken plays. This resilience is priceless in an athlete and rarely found. He is an excellent athlete who is committed to Ole Miss and will continue to make his name known in the SEC.
Javarious Walker, RB 5-11 185 Class of 2023
Javarious has been a great steady running back for Raleigh this year. Whenever his number has been called to run the ball he has done so with great efficiency. Walker has rushed for nearly 100 yards each game while capitalizing on weaknesses in the defense. He was displayed the ability and willingness to run through would-be tacklers as he fights for every yard he can get. His consistency and reliability are great assets for his team and would translate well into the next level.
Jordan Coleman, MLB 6-0 194 Class of 2024
Jordan is a solid cornerstone for the lions as a middle linebacker. Coleman is a tough run-stuffing linebacker who does an excellent getting off blocks, reading the guards, and making plays behind or near the line of scrimmage. His tenacity has led him to get nearly 50 tackles for the year and 2 fumble recoveries. Whenever the play goes outside the tackle box one can see Jordan in fast pursuit spilling the play to the rest of his team. Coleman still has a lot of growing to do both in size and skill but I would argue that he is well on his way to playing ball at the next level.
