DJ Vinson
DJ Vinson
Vinson wideout with next-level size and skill and could develop into a blue chipper. He has one of the better catch radiuses in the state. Even as an underclassman, Vinson is elite at contested catches and one of the best 50/50 guys Alabama has to offer. With excellent concentration and strong hands, he’s open even when he’s not open. Making him a QB’s best friend in 3rd down, red zone opportunities, and deep ball plays. Vinson’s ability to highpoint the ball, attack/ be physical at the point of attack, and generate circus catches is sure to catch eyes soon. In addition to this foundational skill set, Vinson has youth and a frame that can be further developed on his side- making him a high-ceiling prospect if he can put it all together.
Burke is one of the most exciting running backs in the state and is a highlight waiting to happen. With top-tier acceleration and instant burst when he sees an opening, Burke is a scoring threat from anywhere on the field. On top of this explosiveness, he has breakaway speed in the open area that allows him to finish plays once he’s in the secondary. Though he has elite speed and burst, Burke can finish off runs with physicality. In addition to his exceptional talent out of the backfield, Burke can line up at the slot and create significant problems against linebackers and most safeties. Though he isn’t a household name now, Burke is One of the best backs in the 2024 class and a prospect I’d offer at a Power 5 program.
Highlights
Moore is an instinctual safety that’s one of the better ball hawks in the state despite being an underclassman. As a pure turnover generator Moore has displayed a knack for getting the ball back to his offense. His timing and strength allow him to execute the peanut punch and be a threat to cause fumbles in the run game or runs after the catch. He also has the ball skills and hands to make interceptions off deflections, lurking in coverage, or strap up his opponent. Moore is also a willing tackler who isn’t afraid of run support in the run game. Though he isn’t a household name just yet, Moore could very well emerge as a top defensive prospect in his class and is someone I would offer before the price goes up.
Steven Jones Jr.
Steven Jones Jr.
Jones is a defensive back with next-level size and strength. With a versatile skill set, he’s a corner who can hold his own in coverage or use size and tackle with physicality in the run game. In coverage, he shows natural Ball skills and instinct and makes plays when he’s targeted. With solid length, timing, and solid verticality, he eats up space and makes life difficult for receivers on jump balls and goal-line situations. Jones also has a solid pair of hands and makes the most of his opportunities when the ball touches his hands. As a run supporter, Jones has no issues getting off of blocks and getting downhill. He does a great job hitting with a purpose while maintaining the fundamentals of wrapping up and driving through ball carriers.
