The high school football season in the state of Arkansas continues to cruise right along this season. Friday night had plenty of players light up the skies across the state of Arkansas. We are going to look at some of the prospects that had strong performances on Friday night and shine the spotlight on those players. The playoffs are approaching, yet that is not stopping players from putting on a show every Friday night, the stakes are raised high each week.

[player_tooltip player_id='172338' first='Kaylon' last='Morris']-Wide Receiver-Fayetteville-2023

Morris is putting on a show this season. The Fayetteville wide receiver has the speed to stretch the field deep and it was on display Friday night. Morris hauled in 10 receptions for 209 yards and two touchdowns in a win over Fort Smith Southside. He has been one of the most consistent wide receivers in the state and I do not look for that to change over the next few weeks.

[player_tooltip player_id='471070' first='Heath' last='Griffin']-Running Back-Harding Academy-2023

The Harding Academy running back lit up Friday night with an extremely impressive performance. Last night, Griffin carried the ball 20 times for 110 yards and five touchdowns. Griffin was a target in the passing game as well. He hauled in three receptions for 39 yards. The offense for the Wildcats is clicking on all cylinders and will be a team to watch out for come playoff time.

Bodie Neal-Wide Receiver-Shiloh Christian-2023

Against the Harrison Goblins on Friday night, Shiloh Christian wide receiver stretched the field for the Saints. Neal hauled in seven receptions for 169 yards and three touchdowns. The Shiloh offense appears to be clicking on all cylinders as the playoffs approach. Bodie Neal has displayed his versatility on both sides of the ball and is a player to watch out for as the playoffs draw near.

[player_tooltip player_id='250016' first='Owen' last='Miller']-Quarterback-Harding Academy-2025

Harding Academy continues to play impressive football this season. Quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='250016' first='Owen' last='Miller'] has put up strong performances week after week. On Friday night, Miller was 38-of-44 for 418 yards through the air. However, Miller made good use of his legs on Friday night to the tune of 101 yards on the ground on 11 carries. Miller makes all the throws needed to run the Harding Academy offense and has shown tremendous accuracy throughout the season. He is a prospect to keep an eye on as the playoffs approach.

[player_tooltip player_id='240083' first='Jalen' last='Dupree']-Running Back-Malvern-2024

[player_tooltip player_id='240083' first='Jalen' last='Dupree'] has become a mainstay on the prime-time players list every week. The Malvern running back churns out strong performances every week. He played extremely well on Friday night against Ashdown. Dupree carried the ball 38 times for 180 yards and five touchdowns. He hauled in one reception for 19 yards. Dupree has the potential to play on Saturdays and it would not surprise me to see him earn all-state honors this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='471132' first='JT' last='Allen']-Linebacker-Bryant-2025

The Bryant Hornets' dynasty continues to roll right along in 2022. [player_tooltip player_id='471132' first='JT' last='Allen'] on Friday night was able to stuff the state sheet quickly. Allen had five tackles, two sacks, two tackles for loss, and one forced fumble. He flies to the football and is another talented player on a talented Bryant defense. Allen is a prospect to watch out for over the next couple of seasons.

[player_tooltip player_id='149592' first='Jake' last='Casey']-Quarterback-Bentonville West-2024

Bentonville West has opened eyes all season and last night did not disappoint. [player_tooltip player_id='149592' first='Jake' last='Casey'] has played well all season and Friday night was no different. Casey passed 242 yards and three touchdowns. Casey and the Wolverines knocked the Rogers Mounties from the ranks of the unbeaten last night and the 7-A West is shaping up to have a fun finish to the 2022 football season.

[player_tooltip player_id='223617' first='Justin' last='Crutchmer']-Running Back-Lake Hamilton-2023

The strong rushing attack continues to churn out the yards for the Lake Hamilton Wolves. [player_tooltip player_id='223617' first='Justin' last='Crutchmer'] had 20 carries for 213 yards and three touchdowns for the Wolves. Crutchmer has had a terrific season for the Wolves, and I expect that to continue the rest of the season. The matchup against the Greenwood Bulldogs has the potential to be game of the year this season.
