Russo is a shifty back who quickly accelerates quickly. He runs with great patience and vision. He can make a player miss, but he can also put his shoulder down and get tough yards. He has the hands to make plays in the passing game. Russo is a very well-rounded running back, could also serve as a very nice 3rd down back.

QB [player_tooltip player_id='495758' first='Alex' last='Ritzie'] (2024) 6'1 170- Alex did a great job of running Badin's offense on the night. He has a live arm and does a good job of throwing with accuracy. He has the quickness and athleticism to maneuver the pocket and get out on the perimeter. He's comfortable in the pocket, but also throws a really nice ball on the run. He needs to continue to add weight and strength, but he's definitely a player to keep an eye on.

Kaden Starks

OLB [player_tooltip player_id='495756' first='Kaden' last='Starks'] (2023) 5'11 215- Kaden was wreaking havoc for Woodward's offense all night long. He was really good using his speed to win the edge and get to the QB on several occasions. He has the frame and weight to set the edge in the run game as well. Starks brings it on every play and plays to the whistle. With Starks strength and physical style of play he'll be one that will have an easier transition to the college game.

Dominic Pate

S [player_tooltip player_id='495757' first='Dominic' last='Pate'] (2023) 6'0 160- Pate played safety in the Rams defense. He had 2 interceptions on the night. Pate is an athletic safety who shows good awareness and ball skills. He made a nice play where he tracked a deep ball and went up to high point it for the interception. Pate has good length, but needs to add weight and strength.

CB [player_tooltip player_id='259765' first='Braedyn' last='Moore'] (2023) 6'1 170- Moore is a committed to the Cincinnati Bearcats. On this evening he followed Woodward's top receiver [player_tooltip player_id='495793' first='Donte' last='Ferrell']. Woodward showed a healthy respect for Moore's abilities as they really didn't test him much by trying to go to Ferrell. With Badin's rushing game going as it was, they didn't really need Moore much on the offensive side of the ball. He played press man defense all night long and really took away Woodward's number 1 receiver.

Braedyn Moore

Woodward

[player_tooltip player_id='495793' first='Donte' last='Ferrell']

[player_tooltip player_id='495793' first='Donte' last='Ferrell'] (2024) 6'1 170- As I mentioned before Moore did a great job of locking up Ferrell on the night. That being said it was still easy to see why Ferrell has had such a big breakout Junior season. He has a slender athletic frame. He has good short space quickness that he can use to beat defenders off the line. He has good hands and ball skills that he uses to go up and get contested catches. He does a good job with his breaks in route. Ferrell has offers from Boston college, Georgia Tech, and Memphis among others.

TE [player_tooltip player_id='495762' first='Joseph' last='Leonard'] (2023) 6'4 215- Leonard is a tight end with good size and length. As a route runner he's raw, but his combination of size and athleticism make him a really nice project at the small school level of college football. He's physical and engaged in the game. He played linebacker on defense as well.
