In the 2026 class, we are already finding players that are producing at a high level straight into high school. Many of these players will grow into the future stars of the state in their 3 remaining years!
Top Performers
QB Braylen Williams | Nettleton
121/206 1785 yds, 20 TDs, 4 INTs, 618 rush yds, 11 rush TDs
The dual threat freshman looks to be one of the early picks as a top player in the 2026 class of Mississippi. Williams has guided Nettleton to a 6-2 record so far and has sparked life into a program that struggled last season. Standing at 6’1″ 170, Williams has a great build for his age and will fill out over the next 3 years. As a passer, Williams as a huge arm and throws a super impressive deep ball. Williams has good sense in the pocket and knows how to maneuver around the rush to deliver strikes downfield. An addition to the run game, Williams speed in the open field and playmaking ability with the ball in his hands is off the charts. Incredibly gifted player with a big season remaining and bright future ahead.
QB Keonnis Davis Keonnis Davis 6'1" | 195 lbs | QB Tylertown | 2026 State MS | Tylertown
96/143 1344 yds, 13 TDs, 5 INTs
Tylertown’s Keonnis Davis Keonnis Davis 6'1" | 195 lbs | QB Tylertown | 2026 State MS has shown that the future is bright for the Chiefs. Davis is another true dual threat who will be one of the highly sought after players in the state for the 2026 class. The young quarterback has looked good in his starts this season, throwing for over 1344 yards while rushing for another 169. Davis has a big arm and has shown a lot of promise as a decision maker in the passing game. He throws with great timing, leading his receivers downfield and hitting them in stride. Davis does not have to wait for his guy to get open. As a runner, Davis is a powerful unit that can run throw contact well. Big time potential for him over his next three seasons.
WR O’Mari Johnson O’Mari Johnson 6'1" | 170 lbs | ATH Wesson Attendance Center | 2026 MS | Wesson
29 rec 543 yds, 7 TDs, 403 rush yds, 5 TDs
One of the best young players in Mississippi is already garnering attention from major in-state universities. Adding his first offer from Mississippi State this past weekend, O’Mari Johnson O’Mari Johnson 6'1" | 170 lbs | ATH Wesson Attendance Center | 2026 MS is beginning his recruitment process early. As a freshman, Johnson looks like a college ready senior already. The tall and long playmaker spends the majority of his time at wide out, but is used all over the offense as the go-to guy. With the ball in his hands, Johnson has the athleticism to score from anywhere on the field at any time. Johnson has natural hands and tracks the ball extraordinarily well for his age. It is only a matter of time before every college in the southeast has the Wesson stand out on their recruiting board.
WR Xavier McDonald | Morton
37 rec 632 yds, 8 TDs
The rising star out of Morton has been no stranger to Friday night lights, playing some time on varsity last season as an 8th grader. The 6’3″ wideout has been making quite the name for himself this season, snagging 37 passes for 632 yards and 8 TDs. McDonald is a speedy deep threat with the ability to take the top off the defense and make an explosive play downfield. So far this season, he has shown that he can produce from both the slot and outside. McDonald has smooth and natural hands that help him consistently catch balls away from his chest and at the highest point. This is the type of player that you can count on in key situations, as throwing him a jump ball when all else fails is most the time a guaranteed completion for a big gain. Already holding an offer from Southern Mississippi, McDonald should be one of the highly sought after players in the 2026 class.
