Carson Sudbury || RB || 5’10 || 180 || Bingham High School || 2024
Sudbury exploded for 143 yards and five touchdowns in Bingham’s win over Riverton. The junior is one of the state’s most versatile backs who can line up all over the field. Sudbury is slippery in the open field and displays fantastic vision as a runner. He has impressive breakaway speed and hits holes tenaciously. He rarely goes down on first contact and has great awareness of where the sticks and goal line is in short-yardage situations. The Miner’s potent rushing attack would not be the same without Sudbury.
Cooper Thomson || QB || 6’3 || 190 || Cedar Valley High School || 2023
Thomson led the Aviator’s offense to 49 first-half points and 73 for the game. He tossed four touchdown passes in Cedar Valley’s impressive offensive showcase. Thomson throws a beautiful deep ball and displays great accuracy outside the numbers. He makes tight window throws look routine and has a cannon for an arm. In addition, Thomson is a willing runner and, at 6’3, is challenging to bring down in the pocket. The Aviators signal caller will have a chance to lead his team on a deep playoff run starting this Friday.
Cole Christensen Cole Christensen 5'9" | 165 lbs | WR Lone Peak | 2023 State UT || WR || 5’9 || 160 || Lone Peak High School || 2023
Christensen caught four passes in Friday’s win over Westlake, and three of them went for touchdowns. The explosive receiver also went for 171 yards in one of the most impressive games we’ve seen from a pass catcher all year. Christensen possesses elite speed that allows him to create separation and fly to the end zone. Defenders struggle to get their hands on him as he can easily change direction and still blow past would-be tacklers. The Knights receiver will be turning more heads come postseason play.
Freddy Ta’Ai || QB || 5’10 ||190 || Herriman High School || 2024
Ta’Ai scored five total touchdowns in the Herriman’s monumental win over Mountain Ridge. The junior single-caller threw for four touchdown passes and ran in another as he led the Mustangs offense to a great close to the regular season. Ta’Ai did an outstanding job distributing the ball connecting with six different pass-catchers. He guided the Mustang’s offense to a touchdown every quarter and helped them keep the Mountain Ridge offense off the field. Herriman cand Ta’Ai could be getting hot at just the right time.
