There are a ton of promising athletes here in Houston I decided to build an offense and defense team built up of these promising athletes. I will be discussing my offensive lineman picks for my offensive team.
RT: Tompkins High School Ashton Funk Ashton Funk 6'7" | 300 lbs | OL Katy Tompkins | 2024 State TX Jr 6’7 285 lbs
I decided to pick Tompkins High School Ashton Funk Ashton Funk 6'7" | 300 lbs | OL Katy Tompkins | 2024 State TX for my offensive right tackle. Ashton is one of the tallest and strongest linemen in Houston. Pass block, run block, or pull block it doesn’t matter Ashton excels in all of them every single offensive lineman on this list does. Ashton has great footwork allowing him to block and keep up with the quickest defensive linemen or linebackers. Ashton is a top college prospect having numerous colleges and university offers from; the University of Texas A&M, the University of Alabama, Louisiana State University, the University of South Carolina, and the University of Houston to name a few.
RG: Stratford High School Hudson Perroni Sr 6’5 280 lbs
I decided to pick Stratford High School Hudson Perroni for my offensive right guard. Hudson plays as a right tackle at Stratford, but I decided he’ll be great as a right guard. Hudson is a stone wall and moves like a freight train putting everyone he blocks into the ground. On one drive Hudson lost his helmet and was able to properly block his man until the whistle was blown. Hudson is a top college prospect having numerous colleges and university offers from; Sam Houston University, Texas Tech University, Air Force Football, Dartmouth University, and Army Football to name a few.
C: Episcopal High School Makai Wong Sr 6’4 255 lbs
I decided to pick Episcopal High School Makai Wong for my offensive center. With Makai’s quickness and athletic build, he could efficiently snap the ball and instantly get in position to provide great protection. Makai is a sturdy offensive lineman able to play at any position on the offensive line. Makai while playing at Episcopal’s majority of their runs ran in the direction that Makai was on. No matter which side Makai is on he would maul down any defenders in his way. Makai is a college prospect being scouted by a lot of colleges, but one offer from Trinity University.
LG: Atascocita High School Nate Kibble Nate Kibble 6'3" | 290 lbs | OL Atascocita | 2024 State TX Jr 6’2 325 lbs
I decided to pick Atascocita High School Nate Kibble Nate Kibble 6'3" | 290 lbs | OL Atascocita | 2024 State TX for my offensive left guard. Nate usually plays at tackle but because of his height and weight, I think he would be the perfect left guard. Nate at left guard no defensive lineman would get past him with his great footwork, power, and solid foundation. Nate is a top college prospect having numerous colleges and university offers from; the University of Texas A&M, Texas State University, Texas Christian University, the University of Memphis, and the University of Houston to name a few.
LT: Jersey Village High School Reagan Gill Sr 6’5 315 lbs
I decided to pick Jersey Village High School Reagan Gill for my offensive left tackle. With Reagan’s massive size and impeccable footwork, he was pile-driving every single defensive lineman in his sights. Reagan has been exceeding expectations throughout his high school career and has been selected to play in the Blue-Grey All-American game this December. Reagan is a top college prospect having numerous colleges and universities offers, but the one he chose to commit to was Southern Methodist University.
