This game was one that had huge playoff implications. Both teams were entering this game undefeated in their districts thus this game was also a district championship game. The game was a low-scoring nail-biter as both defenses were set on stopping their opponents in their tracks and forcing them into punting situations. Below are some key athletes who were exceptional during the contest last night. The game came down to the final drive of the game where Stanislaus had an opportunity to go up 14-12 with 3 minutes on the clock.

[player_tooltip player_id='108969' first='Chandler' last='Chapman'], 5-10 185 RB, SS Class of 2023
Chandler was excellent last night. He was breaking tackles for huge gains on offense and shutting down plays as a strong safety on defense. His running threat was present as JDC insisted on playing the run heavily every down. Chandler has been running exceptionally this year and is en route to breaking records at SSC.

#1 for JDC was the playmaker who put the nail on the coffin for the game. as a receiver he was not targeted incredibly often but when his number was called he made huge plays, one that gave JDC a touchdown and another that put the Jaguars in a scoring position. His effort on every play is what allowed him to be explosive. This intangible is crucial for the WR position.

Some other impactful athletes were [player_tooltip player_id='344029' first='Jacob' last='Bradford'], Spencer Cornell, and Kyle Stegall. These teams may meet again later in the playoffs if they continue to play as they did Thursday Night.
