Some of football's most dramatic moments have followed a similar script: game on the line, one last play in the fourth quarter and the outcome of the contest will be decided by one swing of the foot of the kicker. While the few seconds of that play seem like agonizing hours to so many, a team's season can either be drastically altered or ended entirely depending on what happens. With that in mind, it is essential to have a solid kicker who can come up with a big kick when needed. These are just a few of the kickers in the Hoosier state who exemplify the nerves of steel and the physical attributes necessary to play the position.

[player_tooltip player_id='300272' first='Griffin' last='Mcgee'] is the solid accuracy that teams want in their kicker. But that accuracy is not limited to placekicking. McGee handles kickoff duties well. He can place the ball outside the hash giving the returner a difficult starting point. So far this season, McGee has been efficient. McGee has split the uprights on 30 of his 33 extra point attempts. When it comes to kicking field goals, McGee is a perfect 5/5.

[player_tooltip player_id='377322' first='Owen' last='Denny'] has only appeared in four games this season for Lake Central. In that quartet of contests, though, Denny has been reliable. The Junior has converted all seven of his extra point attempts. Denny has been money on his two field goal tries so far this year. One of his made field goals was a 40-yarder. [player_tooltip player_id='377322' first='Owen' last='Denny'] is a prospect to keep an eye on with still one more year of high school eligibility remaining.

[player_tooltip player_id='325867' first='Keifer' last='Sanderson'] checks all of the boxes for kickers. On field goals and extra points he is dependable, and on kickoffs he can back the returner up. On 29 kickoffs, Sanderson has racked up nearly 1,200 kickoff yards. Sanderson is currently 30/33 on PATs. When it comes to field goals, he has yet to miss this year. Sanderson is 4/4 with his longest made field goal coming from 40 yards out.

Only a freshman, [player_tooltip player_id='466343' first='Van' last='Krisiloff'] has a bright future ahead of him. At the consistent rate which Cathedral wins, he should have plenty of opportunity to kick over the next few years. Krisiloff can handle both kickoff and placekicking duties. He gets plenty of distance on kickoffs, and he is accurate when booting the ball through the uprights. Krisiloff can punt as well. [player_tooltip player_id='466343' first='Van' last='Krisiloff'] has a ton of potential. It will be fun to watch how he progresses over the next few years.
