Game Recap

This was a game that is way different than what the final score says. The game was a defensive grind the entire game both teams held on strong and kept stopping the other from scoring. Cael Dembsiniski had a fumble recovery before the end of the first. Not to long into the second quarter [player_tooltip player_id='302783' first='Owen' last='Hancock'] runs it in after a long drive. Putting Wahoo up 7-0. The Falcons would soon get a stop and force a fumble again. Wahoo would score again before the half going up 14-0 at the beginning of the 3rd Quarter. Wahoo drove down again going up 21-0 before DC West would force a fumble but then throw an interception with [player_tooltip player_id='302783' first='Owen' last='Hancock'] catching it in the end zone. The Warriors would drive it down for another field goal and the Falcons couldn't get anything else going. Wahoo would take the victory and the shutout 24-0. Wahoo had about 321 total yards on the day 259 of which came from the ground game. DC West had about 150 yards with 129 of those being on the ground.

Top Players

Cael Dembsiniski

Cael kept up with the Warriors offense the entire game. I don't think there was a play where he wasn't near the ball when he was out on the field. He hits with force and went right to the ball for a fumble recovery. He was one of the best parts of the Falcon's defense.

Charlie Wood

Charlie had a solid and consistent game. He kept getting tackles through out the game and always followed the ball. On offense he was great at sealing the edges and even took a handoff for a rush. He contributed a ton to the 129 rushing yards

[player_tooltip player_id='302783' first='Owen' last='Hancock']

Owen had a great game being able to scramble everywhere from all over the place with a 42 and 14 yard carries. He was able to lead his team after the slow start. He made his presence known on offense and defense and was able to make big plays out of nothing.

Samuel Edmonds

Samuel Edmonds was another beast for the Warriors.
