Emerging Defensive Prospects

Through five games this season he's registered a team leading 65 total tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack, and a force fumble. He's averaging over 13 tackles a game with 44 solo tackles. His athleticism is also used on the offensive side of the ball where he has 31 carries for 191 yards and one touchdown. Barnhill has been a playmaker and is second on the team in tackles through five games registering 62 total tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, 6 sacks, 10 QB hurries and 2 forced fumbles! Through five games the junior is second on the team with 60 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, one sack, and one fumble recovery. He's been a key contributor to a Tiger's team that's 4-2 through six games. He excels on both sides of the ball and on offense is leading the team with 542 yards rushing, averaging 7.3 yards per carry with seven touchdowns and three 100 yard rushing games. He's just as good on the defensive side of the ball and is leading the team with 57 total tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, and a forced fumble.
