EF has a ton of weapons on both sides of the ball at their disposal. QB Zion White Zion White 6'4" | 215 lbs | QB Elizabeth Forward | 2023 State PA & WR Zach Boyd Zach Boyd 6'1" | 185 lbs | WR Elizabeth Forward | 2023 State PA have been very productive in route to their unbeaten record. The Warriors have done the most damage offensively in the second quarter this year. The 1-6 Gladiators have to stop EF early in the game in order to have a chance at Victory.
Boyd is on a couple of FBS radars, but he’s already secured 4 offers from FCS Marist, Division 2 Clarion, Mercyhurst & Walsh. The D1 product has good speed mixed with a wide-ranging catch radius. He’s capable of turning a short reception into a long TD. The senior wideout releases well & tracks the ball nicely using his 6’2 frame. Zach’s also a dangerous returner with 4.5 speed & impressive maneuverability. The EF standout is averaging 30.4 yds per reception at the midpoint of the season.
Highlights
Nigut is explosive when he has the football. The underclassman is a versatile athlete that EF utilizes in creative ways. Charlie lines up for EF at RB, slot WR & wildcat QB. His speed & short-area quickness is above average for a sophomore specialist. The 25′ prospect has a good burst that he displayed kick returning. On defense, Nigut has a good pedal and shows good ball skills on film.
Wilmore has been receiving interest from smaller college programs. He runs the ball with good balance, strength & vision. The senior athlete’s elusiveness can be seen on interior rushes specifically. At defensive end, Jordan gets off the ball quickly, & he dips his shoulder well pass rushing on the edge. EF’s senior contributor doesn’t quit on plays & pursues the ball carrier aggressively. Wilmore also redirects & plays off of blocks well. The 2023 athlete also runs an 11.1 second 100-meter dash.
Charlie Meehkeib
Charlie Meehkeib
Charlie’s recruitment has started to pick up from FBS & FCS schools although he’s currently unoffered. The 2024 prospect is a great long snapper & 2-way player. He’s fast off the line plus he’s talented at engaging & disengaging blockers. Meehkeib changes directions well, and he also pursues the ball actively front or backside. Charlie is skilled at getting into the QB’s throwing lanes & causing deflections. EF’s junior starter is one of the best long snappers in the WPIAL presently.
Kel Rush
Kel Rush
Rush’s recruitment has primarily come from FCS programs thus far. Kel has great cornerback size at 6’1 175 for the next level. The senior DB has good hips & speed bailing in cover 3. He possesses good hands & ball skills, which he displays well on a pick 6 versus Ringgold HS. Rush is physical & active in run support. Due to Kel’s size & speed, he could potentially play safety in college. Another valuable attribute is Rush’s ability to be a special teams contributor.
Grant Robinson
Grant Robinson
Grant’s explosively forceful blocking out of his stance at the Center position. His low center of gravity makes it easy for Robinson to move defenders. He’s great at pass-blocking & down-blocking. Grant’s strength can be seen when he’s pancaking defenders on film. The senior OL has a vicious punch & a stout base in pass sets. Robinson has a one-track mind to see his opponents neutralized on running plays.
The Youngstown commit makes the Penguins look good for offering him. He’s been displaying his dominance at RB & DE all season long. Dashawn’s even more relentless this year pass rushing the QB than he was in 21′. Carter’s athletic ability running the football aids him well in defeating blocks & pursuing the ball on defense.
Highlights
The senior signal caller is getting courted by a lot of D2 programs. Wehrer’s passing has improved tremendously in terms of velocity. He’s become more accurate overall from intermediate to deep passes. I still believe that Eric’s best position is OLB collegiately. Wehrer has forced fumbles, sacked the QB & got TFLs consistently this season.
Camden Lewis
Camden Lewis
Camden has displayed consistency as one of South Allegheny’s best defenders. He’s sharper reading his run-to-pass keys. Lewis sniffs plays out & chases the ball down relentlessly. Camden’s pass-catching at TE has also improved since I last evaluated him versus Imani Christian.
