Westerville North
Adam Ingram, FS/CB, 2023 – Adam is a great athlete for the Warriors. Has great speed and athletic ability to work against the best receivers in Central Ohio in the OCC. Great stance, patient backpedal, and good transition to running. Plays the ball through the hands of the receivers and his timing is good. He is a smaller player but holds his own against stalk blocks and isn’t afraid to stick his nose in there.
Bellefontaine
Riley Neer Riley Neer 6'0" | 170 lbs | WR Bellefontaine | 2024 State OH , WR/DB, 2024 – Riley is a talented smaller school athlete in the class of 2024. Competes in all three phases and is a threat to score when he touches the ball. He is fast with good open field wiggle. He gets open and makes the tough catches. Runs great deep routes including the swing out of the backfield. Played some running QB this year in special packages. On defense competes really well at CB with good technique in Zone and Man. He stays over the top of the deep routes and plays through the hands. Has the ability to lock down a WR into the boundary. Good tackler on the perimeter getting the ball carriers to the ground.
Westerville South
Nasir Phillips Nasir Phillips 5'8" | 190 lbs | RB Westerville South | 2024 State OH , RB/MLB, 2024 – Nasir can flat out ball. He is fast, physical, and always runs behind his pads. Patience to the hole with good burst through. Carries the ball high and tight and isn’t afraid to get into the mix on short yardage downs. Runs a complex set of plays and does it very intelligently in regard to his reads. Impressive ability in the open field to separate or wiggle depending on the defenders. Catches well out of the backfield and blocks to the whistle. Keep an eye on him throughout winter and spring.
Kipp Columbus
Jeremiah Watkins, WR, 2024 – Jeremiah is a baller. He is tall, fast, and can outjump defenders. His length makes him a redzone scoring machine and favorite target. Plays out of the slot and is a mismatch for LB’s and Safeties. Runs good routes and speeds past defenders on the 9 route. Attacks the ball with his hands in the air. They utilize him in the speed sweep series and he is a good running back type as well. Very twitchy athlete with tremendous upside.
Bradley Schilling, DE, 2023 – Brad is a very good DE with great ability in stopping the run. Flexible in his stance and fires off the snap low and hard. He gets to lockout and his gaps quickly up and through the blocker. He reads plays really well and adjusts his technique on the fly. He has great hips and can bend. Makes good tackles behind and on the LOS. As a pass rusher he gets the edge quickly with good bend back to the QB. He is a finisher and plays with his hair on fire.
