While there are plenty that almost made this list, only time will tell how the list shapes up by the end of the season. Even then, it is still worth giving each of these prospects, who have performed at a high rate going into week 5, a watch, and attention.

Wright, who has played a full 4 games already this season, is already seeing plenty of return on investment in his offseason training, and the way that it has translated to his game. So far, he has already totaled 76 tackles this season, averaging around 19 tackles a game, with around 2 tackles for a loss so far this year. In addition to this, out of all of his tackles, he has also seen 41 of them as solo tackles, with 35 of them being from assists. Look for him to continue to add to this number as the season goes by, but with some competition close behind, as Aden Allsbrook already has 75.
Aden Allsbrook- Montgomery Central
Allsbrook, who is slowly catching up to Wright after his 4 games of production, has already totaled around 18.8 tackles a game, with 13 of them being solo tackles, and 62 of them being assists. While the assists may be a great stat, we would like to see him make more of an impact as a solo player at times. With this, it is also important to note that Allsbrook plays light on his feet, and does a good job of getting up the field, and playing fast.
Mason Chastain- Bessemer City
Not far behind from Allsbrook is Chastain, as he has already played in 5 games, and has come to average around 13.5 tackles a game. These tackles have contributed to a total of 66 tackles so far this season, which all happen to be solo tackles, while also including 4 tackles for a loss, and 2 sacks. Expect, especially due to this sample size of production, for Chastain’s numbers to continue to climb.
Grayson Loy- Williams
Loy, who is a bit underrated statewide, has slowly begun to step up for Williams High, and this can be seen in the way he has performed in each of his 4 games so far this season. In these 4 games, he has averaged around 15.2 tackles a game, with 61 total tackles this year, with 22 of them being solo tackles. In addition to this, Loy also has seen 39 assisted tackles, and huge plays in big time moments in the game. Look for him to continue to step up and to be a huge part of his team’s production.
Bryant Blevins- Ashe County
Blevins has slowly made a name for himself this year, and has seen 60 tackles in just a matter of 4 games With this, he has averaged around 15 tackles a game, with 11 solo tackles on the season so far, compared to his 30 tackles with assists. While this is impressive, one thing we would like to highlight is his ability to get after the ball carrier in pursuit, which has been proven by his 6 tackles for a loss. Look for him to add on to this as the year progresses.
