Some of these players even have a unique ability to run more polished routes, and to find themselves open more easily than other prospects due to the gifts, and talents that they possess to play the WR position. Below, take a look at the top receivers yardage wise to this point of the season.

The fact that Johnson has made the top spot in receiving should not be a surprise, especially because his QB, Sire Hardaway, leads the entire state in passing with around 980 yards in just 3 games. With this being said, as his main target, Johnson has totaled a large amount of yards due to this. Going into week 4, he has already totaled 376 yards, with an average of 125.3 yards a game. In addition to this, he also averaged around 26 yards a reception, which is impressive considering he has only had 14 catches this year. To add to this, Johnson has also seen a long of 70 yards on one of his receptions, with 3 TD’s so far this season. As the year continues to go by, look for him to put up insane numbers, and to help lead Douglas County to various kinds of success.
Marek Briley- North Gwinnett
After 3 games, North Gwinnett has already witnessed Briley total around 312 yards, which has come on only 9 receptions. If this is not impressive enough, the fact that he was able to do so with a reception average of 34.67 yards, proves how much of a big play threat he has been for his team. He has averaged around 156 yards a game, and his 3 TD’s so far speak to his level of production for his team’s scoreboard. As the season progresses, look for him to grow and progress as a player, and to be able to put up more yards for his team, and to run routes that put him in place to put up more points as well.
Dakarai Anderson

– Perry
Watching Anderson play this season has been fun, as his numbers, and tape reveal how much of an explosive, and big play prospect he can be. In fact, the 311 yards he has put up has also revealed this fact, but it should also be highly noted that with that volume of yardage, and his 11 catches so far this season, he has been able to put the ball in the end zone 5 times in just 2 games. Going into next week, expect him to be one of the key players for his offense, and to be able to put up numbers that plenty of receivers throughout the state struggle to do.

is one of many Rabun County players to make the top statistical categories throughout the state going into week 4, even though their team has only played 2 games. Nevertheless, Gibson has allowed his 2 games to be something worth watching, as he has tied with Anderson, putting up 311 yards in just two games as well, averaging 155.5 yards a game. The biggest differences include the fact that he has seen 15 receptions this year, with an average of 20 yards a catch, and 4 TD’s. With this, Gibson has also seen a long of 89 yards on one reception, proving that he is a big play threat, and should be accounted for by his opponents.

has proven to be an underrated player for his team, and across the state after 3 games. Not only has he totaled 306 yards, but he has averaged around 102 yards a game, on 19 catches. With these 19 catches, he also averages 16 yards a catch, and has seen a long of 64 yards. Going into the rest of the season, while he produces numbers wise, we would like to see him step up in ways that creates points for his team. While he has been a solid player for Lithia Springs, we also recognize that he has only scored twice for his team. Look for him to grow in this way within the next few weeks.
