Week 3: Top QB Performances

I am listing the players who's stat line stood out, who people recommended but most importantly, ONLY players who either I watched live or was able to watch highlights from their specific game. Against Sunnyside HS, he showed off his ability to make plays in many different ways. He picked off the opposing quarterback while on defense and produced offensively well. He finished the game going 9/14 with 189 yards passing and 2 touchdowns, he also threw an interception. He showed off his legs on the field as well, gaining 81 yards and 3 rushing touchdowns while running the ball 10 times. Through the air, he was making some hard throws. Farley completed 27 of his 40 passing attempted while throwing for 385 yards and 5 touchdowns. Joe was spot on with his throws throughout the night, placing a beautiful ball right over his receivers shoulder for about a 20 yard touchdown. The touch Joe puts on the ball is beautiful. He made this same throw multiple times that night. Farley moves in the pocket nicely, being able to step up to make the throw or roll to the outside to make the throw on the run. I am not going to agree or disagree with that statement but, Michael has been performing very well on the field during his junior year. Week 3 against Eastlake HS, Michael completed 29 of 38 passes for 310 yards and 2 touchdowns. He throws the ball with authority, leading to many tight spirals for the receivers. During their game against a tough Union HS team, Johnson went 26 of 35 with 391 yards passing and a whopping 7 passing touchdowns. He wasn't done there as he added in 11 rushes for 59 yards and another touchdown on the ground. He was throwing darts all night long, completing throws that not many quarterbacks can in the class. His long ball was spot on too, giving his receivers time to run under the ball perfectly and not lose their stride. Yelm has been putting up big numbers behind star running back [player_tooltip player_id='115328' first='Brayden' last='Platt'], but junior quarterback Damian Aalona has been outstanding this year too. During his week 3 win against Central Kitsap HS, Aalona was extremely efficient going 17 of 20 with 212 yards and 2 touchdowns. He has a great long ball throw as well, leading his receivers to the touchdown while they are in full stride.
