Jarvis Durr Jarvis Durr 5'10" | 185 lbs | RB Brandon | 2023 State MS , RB, Brandon, 2023
This guy right here is the lightning to his team’s offense. Jarvis is a back that knows how to make a way out of no way. He is a LA Tech commit that has a lot more season to put up big numbers. This guy can go.
His team had a hard fought game with Clinton Friday and he rushed for 226 yards and two touchdowns. This man was toting the rock and making plays. He gives his team a spark with his explosiveness. This probably won’t be the last time we mention his name. He is good.
Zach Ealey, QB, Morton
Went 25 of 44 passing for 339 yards with four touchdowns and also had 92 yards rushing in the Panthers 35-34 overtime win over Pearl. This kid had a heck of a game Friday night. His team is 3A and Pearl is 6A. This was not an easy win for them by a long shot. Probably one of the best performances of the weekend across the whole state.
Jimmy Graham, RB, Noxapater
Had 13 carries for 153 yards with four touchdowns in the Tigers 36-6 win over Coffeeville. This guy here is a bulldozer at RB for Noxapater. He is a guy they call on to get those tough yards. He also is a good player on defense. His name will be on these lists all year.
Jeremiah Harrell Jeremiah Harrell 6'2" | 180 lbs | QB Tupelo | 2024 State MS , QB, Tupelo, 2024
Went 11 of 17 passing for 238 yards with three touchdowns in the Golden Wave’s 42-10 win over Corinth. He is a great pocket passer. I love the way he slings the ball around. Kid has a strong arm and is very intelligent. We are going to see his name here again.
Xavier McDonald, WR, Morton, 2026
This young freshman had 11 catches for 156 yards with four touchdowns. Yes he did this and he is only a freshman. The level of competition they played was up there as well. He succeeded against a very good Pearl football team. These kind of games will be repetitive for him this season.
Jalon Townes Jalon Townes 6'1" | 210 lbs | DB Grenada | 2023 State MS , S/LB, Grenada, 2023
This guy here is a true stud. He knows how to lay the blows and you do not want to he in his way. He knows how to be all over the field for the Charger defense. He can play safety or he can line up in the box and play LB. He is very versatile.
He had 19 tackles, five tackles for loss, a sack and a forced fumble against Hernando Friday. He is a ball hawk on defense that finds the football all the time. He is a vocal leader that keeps his team going. Coaches are going to like for him to be on their team.
Will Smith, RB, Ocean Springs, 2025
Had 13 carries for 206 yards with three touchdowns in the Greyhounds 36-0 win over George County. This is a RB I like a lot. I think he is a true RB that has the ability to do it all. Has good speed, he is quick and has good hands. This is going to be a thousand yard season for him.
