Most Impressive Wins This Week

Alpena 18 Marquette 16 - Marquette is usually one of the strongest team in the North, and they're usually a consistent playoff team. Great win for [player_tooltip player_id='249503' first='Jake' last='Zann'] and Alpena against a team that was heavily favored.

Clarkston 62 Southfield A&T 56 - An amazing bounce-back to Clarkston's Week 1 loss against Davison.

Corunna 35 Pinckney 28 - A great win for an impressive D5 team over a equally good D3 team.

Grand Haven 49 TC West 21 - A beatdown for Grand Haven after a questionable week 1 performance. This win impresses me.

Grandville 45 Byron Center 27 - Grandville is a sneaky-good team in the OK-Red that now has 2 impressive wins against great teams.

West Ottawa 21 Portage Northern 10 - The Panthers haven't looked this good in a very long time.

Petoskey 43 Bay City Western 17 - Petoskey has a great defense led by [player_tooltip player_id='249497' first='CJ' last='Hibbler']. His stats have been through the roof.

Reeths-Puffer 34 St. Johns 14 - Even though RP won against this team 19-6 last season, you can really see the 21'-22' improvement here.

Troy Athens 42 Berkley 6 - Either I've severely underestimated Athens or overestimated Berkley. Perhaps both.

Zeeland West 28 Cedar Springs 0 - I'm high on both of these teams, and honestly, I would have picked Cedar Springs to win this one. Great shutout win for the Dux.

Lapeer 56 Traverse City Central 42 - The Lightning earn a win against the 2021 DII Runner-Up. This team is good.

De La Salle 49 Muskegon 16 - Stock up for DLS and stock down for Muskegon. Big day for Drogosh and Nichols, while [player_tooltip player_id='226712' first='Mason' last='Muragin'] bullied the Muskegon O-Line.
