Garden Grove played a fun game against Santa Ana last week in a matchup between two of Orange County’s oldest schools.
Bey accounted for 75 percent of Garden Grove’s offensive production. The senior running back ran for 306 yards on 25 carries with two touchdowns in the 19-7 win.
The 306 yards were a career-high for Bey who broke his previous mark of 213 yards in his debut game as a sophomore.
Pacifica has a crop of good young players and last week was Joyner’s turn to shine.
The junior running back rushed for 192 yards on 16 carries with 3 touchdowns in Pacifica’s 28-20 win over Santa Barbara.
Arizona, Oregon State, San Diego State and UNLV have all offered Joyner.

Serrano heavily relied on Maholchic to beat Paraclete of Lancaster 48-24 last week.
The senior running back ran for 287 yards on 18 carries with four touchdowns for the Diamondbacks.
Maholchic’s 287 yards are a career-high, breaking his previous mark of 139 yards that he set the previous week against Adelanto.
Poway has really turned its offense over to the running game recently and Rath is putting up huge numbers every week.
Rath ran for 270 yards on 24 carries with 3 touchdowns in Poway’s 27-19 win over Ramona in week two.
The 27o yards are the second most of Rath’s career.
He has offers from Quincy University and Stetson.
The top running back in the 2023 class squared off against another top running back in Delon Thompson Delon Thompson 5’9″ | 195 lbs | RB St. Bonaventure | 2023 State CA of St. Bonaventure last week.
Robinson and Lincoln came out on top in the close matchup. The UCLA commit ran for 307 yards on 20 carries with 3 touchdowns in Lincoln’s 27-24 win.
The 307 yards shattered a career-high for Robinson which previously was 200 yards he had last year against Eastlake.
