What a Week! This article outlines 29 of the biggest games of the week, from the Big North to the OAA to the Wolverine. Now, here's your Sunday Recap!

Big North

Petoskey 24 Alepna 20

An important win for Petoskey if they want any shot at the playoffs. Season-ending injury for [player_tooltip player_id='249497' first='CJ' last='Hibbler'] will greatly hurt Petoskey. As for Alpena, they haven't been doing great so far this season.

Cadillac 19 Gaylord 9

Cadillac is a steadily good team. Although they're 3-2, I fully expect Cadillac to make the playoffs. Gaylord should also make the postseason considering their upcoming schedule.

Capital Area

Grand Blanc 28 East Lansing 21

GREAT win for Grand Blanc!!! Good game by Owen Szczembara. I fully expected East Lansing to win after their win against DeWitt.

Mason 28 Haslett 13

Mason keeps on dominating the Lansing Area. This is a criminally underrated team that beat Brother Rice last year and is a show-in playoff team this year. Haslett is no joke either, as their only 2 losses come from DeWitt and Mason.

Catholic League

DET Catholic Central 21 Brother Rice 19

One of the most storied rivalries in Michigan here! It was a great game that included a massive pick-6 for Catholic Central that really turned the tides. At this point, Catholic Central controls its own destiny in the Catholic League. Next week's matchup against De La Salle should be a war.

De La Salle 56 OLSM 14

Expected dominant performance for DLS, and this gets them back on track after last week's loss.

Divine Child 15 Clarenceville 8

Divine Child's only loss has been to undefeated Riverview, and I don't expect Divine Child to lose more than two games this season.

Independent

St. Igatius (OH) 21 River Rouge 14

I love these OH-MI matchups, and unfortunately, Ohio got the best of us this time. River Rouge is still one of the best teams in Michigan.

KLAA

Brighton 17 Northville 14

This was an amazing game that lived up to the hype. A late blocked FG was the difference for Brighton to come out with the victory! Nevertheless, these are two playoff teams.

MAC

Grosse Pointe South 21 Roseville 14

After starting the season 0-2, GP South has won three straight, and they now have a great win against Roseville. I don't think Roseville should fret either, as they are 3-2 with a great chance to win out.

Dakota 28 Chippewa Valley 17

These two teams have been on a roll lately, and Dakota proves themselves in a massive way here.

Romeo 30 Anchor Bay 21

Great win for the Bulldogs against a tough Anchor Bay squad.

Port Huron Northern 14 Port Huron 7

Rivalry game that had Northern come out on top for the first time since 2019!

Utica Eisenhower 15 Sterling Heights Stevenson 11

Eisenhower has been an extremely impressive team this season, and they're now 4-1.

OAA

Ferndale 20 Berkley 11

Good, needed win for Ferndale. Berkley continues to fall apart.

Seaholm 29 North Farmington 22

Seaholm should be on their way to winning the OAA Blue. North Farmington falls to 1-4, but they have a favorable schedule ahead.

Rochester 18 Harper Woods 12

Important win for Rochester over a quality Harper Woods team. The Falcons need to string together some more wins if they want to make the playoffs, though.

Adams 35 West Bloomfield 18

This was the game of the week, and I was shocked by the outcome. Adams has now defeated West Bloomfield in 3-straight matchups, and I wouldn't be surprised if they met again in the postseason.

Lake Orion 24 Stoney Creek 14

Important win for The Dragons over a good Stoney Creek team. Although these teams aren't at the top of the OAA Red, they're still great teams that will be dangerous if they make the playoffs.

Troy 16 Farmington 14

Good win for Troy, and somewhat surprising of a loss for Farmington.

Ottawa-Kent

Belding 40 Sparta 35

Big OK-SIlver matchup has Belding on top! Playoff team right here.

Rockford 41 East Kentwood 20

The Rams pulled away late to secure the victory. Rockford controls their own destiny in the OK-Red and will face rival Grandville next weekend. East Kentwood plays amazing competition this season, and if they're able to make the playoffs, they could be dangerous.

Fruitport 37 Coopersville 20

Interesting game in the OK-Blue. Fruitport wins in an offensive show.

East Grand Rapids 42 GR Christian 14

EGR dominates the rivalry game against Christian. I see a good future for EGR.

Caledonia 50 Grandville 40

These are two top-3 teams in the OK-Red, and two teams that could make a postseason run. I'm absolutely not surprised by the number of points scored in this game, and I'm not surprised that Caledonia came out on top.

Zeeland West 38 Muskegon 36

The Dux started out with a massive lead, but Muskegon came storming back. The comeback came up short, resulting in Zeeland West holding the lead in the OK-Green. I'm really looking forward to West's game against Mona Shores now!

Saginaw Valley

Midland Dow 27 TC West 20

Dow gets a needed win and now stands at 2-2. TC West falls to 1-3, and they'll play catchup against a tough schedule.

Midland 21 TC Central 17

The Chemics jump out to a 4-1 start, while TC Central is struggling at 1-4 after making it to Ford Field last season.

Wolverine

Edwardsburg 25 Plainwell 21

The Eddies remain in full control of the Wolverine-B.
