Somehow, Daimon Jacobs Daimon Jacobs 5’11” | 180 lbs | DB West Chester Rustin | 2023 State PA of West Chester Bayard Rustin is continuing to raise his stock. The more this young man plays the harder it is to keep him out of the top 100. Strictly from a build and projection perspective, Jacobs looks the part of an FCS DB. Jacobs is beginning to pile on the production to prove this projection true. I could see Group of Five programs like Akron and/or UConn pull the trigger on this young man, so long as he continues to have nights like he did last weekend. Check out his tape below.
You can make the case that Hempfield’s Gino Caesar Gino Caesar 5’9″ | 195 lbs | LB Hempfield | 2023 State PA ‘s rank is far too low. You can also argue that we don’t speak about the young man enough on the site. Caesar left us no choice with his performance against Connellsville this past weekend. Four scores on the ground while racking up 167 yards on the ground and air. As well as Caesar has looked toting the rock this season, he legitimately could be a better linebacker prospect at the next level. Caesar proving his worth on both sides of the ball. Excited to see him continue building momentum.
I didn’t expect to see Bret Fitzsimmons Bret Fitzsimmons 5’10” | 165 lbs | ATH Central Valley | 2023 State PA the running back explode onto the scene like he has this Fall. I’ll be the first to admit it, not sure if any senior will jump higher up our rankings than Fitzsimmons will after the season ends. Looking back at his tapes, I am more fond of Fitzsimmons the linebacker than I am Fitzsimmons the running back. I may have to reconsider that notion after seeing what the young man has done through two weeks. Week Zero saw Fitzsimmons run for three touchdowns on seven attempts, Week One saw him score four more times on just ten carries. The stat lines have been incredible, 375+ all-purpose yards gained by the senior, along with 17 tackles and a multitude of TFLs to boot. I’m fully expecting the kid to dominate each week.
Josh Young Josh Young 6’5″ | 200 lbs | WR Abington | 2023 State PA received a modest rank this offseason, as he was more of a wait-and-see project that intrigued me due to his height/weight combination. Young has now broken out of his shell, popping off this past weekend for three touchdowns and one interception. We waited and we saw. More games like this out of the Abington senior will lead to a huge boost in rank this offseason. The higher the rank, the more likely college coaches will see your name. Here’s hoping this happens for Young.
The Madden Locke Madden Locke 6’1″ | 205 lbs | LB Bloomsburg Area | 2023 State PA stat line from his game against Central Mountain goes as follows:
9 tackles, 1 sack
244 rushing yards, 3 touchdowns. 4 rec, 44 yards.
An elite performance from an elite-level prospect that needs more attention on a state scale. I have screamed this kid’s name from mountain tops, hoping any FCS/G5 coaches would listen. Madden Locke Madden Locke 6’1″ | 205 lbs | LB Bloomsburg Area | 2023 State PA ‘s tape does all the talking, be the first to offer this young man. Much like Daimon Jacobs Daimon Jacobs 5’11” | 180 lbs | DB West Chester Rustin | 2023 State PA , if Locke continues on this path, I won’t be able to justify a rank outside of the top 100-150.
Another elite performance from an elite athlete at York Suburban. Being straightforward, our rank might not reflect this kid’s game. That has to change. Donegal High was the latest program to feel the wraith of Bentivegna, who went off for 360+ scrimmage yards, totaling four scores on the night, helping York Suburban win with ease.
Every time we speak about Bentivegna, we talk about just how versatile the young man is. He can run the ball like a real back, he can run routes with the subtlety of a wideout, he can provide elite safety/DB play as well. In this one, Bentivegna decided to show off his skills at quarterback too, throwing for a touchdown to prove his “ATH” designation. Take a look at his dominant night below.
Highlights
Nehemiah Azeem Nehemiah Azeem 5’9″ | 170 lbs | QB Our Lady of the Sacred Heart | 2023 State PA is proving all doubters wrong with each rep this season. Although the top 300 rank might not be to Azeem’s liking, he still currently ranks as a high-level D2 prospect. He’s outplaying all pre-season projections, throwing for more than 700 yards while scoring seven total touchdowns. Most importantly, the young man and senior captain has led OLSH to a 2-0 record. Throw all preconceived notions about Azeem out of the window and watch him ball.

Sam Penna Sam Penna 5’8″ | 160 lbs | ATH Richland | 2023 State PA is on pace to shatter his seasonal stat records from previous years. Penna’s role at Richland continues to grow, his rank should and will reflect this. Incredibly impressed with Penna’s performance against Central this past weekend.
11 for 14 through the air for just under 250 yards and three scores. Don’t forget about this kid’s prowess as a defensive back either. Penna has taken his new role in stride, showing future collegiate suitors that he’s not only capable of producing at multiple positions but also being a leader of a football team. Love what I’ve seen out of Penna thus far, can say the same about the entire Richland program honestly. Penna’s stock is raising.

Tyler Wolfe Tyler Wolfe 5’11” | 170 lbs | QB Hazleton Area | 2023 State PA obliterated Wallenpaupack this past weekend. This should be the evaluation.
There are a ton of great quarterbacks in the state, yet many that rank above Wolfe can’t say they accounted for seven total scores in a single game. Wolfe did just that, throwing six touchdowns for Hazleton Area, adding an additional rushing touchdown that served as the cherry on top of his illustrious performance. Wolfe showed what he’s capable off and made it look easy too, take a look for yourself below.
