QB’s of the Week

The pass heavy Paradise Honors offense let Baker cook as he went 26/29 for 459 yards and 9 TD's to blowout Odyssey 70-7. No, that's not a typo. 9 TD's for Baker is his best game thus far in his career and he continues to prove that he has the most dangerous arm in 3A. Paradise Valley entered this season as a huge underdog but they are putting some respect on their name, winning their last 3 games and putting up big numbers thanks to Mcdaniel. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='110157' first='Adam' last='Damante'], ALA-Gilbert North '23</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The NAU commit took advantage of man coverage on Friday night, going 26/38 for 464 yards and 7 TD's and also rushed for 70 yards and a TD to beat Prescott in a shootout 55-35. Damante did a great job identifying favorable matchups and trusting his receivers to beat man coverage. He is the most dangerous player in 4A and continues to make those "wow" plays every week and put up ridiculous numbers. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='42922' first='Landon' last='Jury'], Casteel '23</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jury threw for 323 yards and 5 TD's while adding 86 yards on 6 carries to help Casteel beat Casa Grande and keep them climbing up the ranks. This has been Jury's top game of the year thus far as he has Casteel rolling to a 4-0 record and has people across the state talking about a potential spot in the open division playoff. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='214124' first='Roch' last='Cholowsky'], Hamilton '23</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The UCLA baseball commit is also one of the top QB's in 6A and continues to prove why every week. In just one half of football, he went 11/15 for 266 yards and 5 TD's to help Hamilton beat Horizon 66-21. Smooth all around athlete that makes plays look efforltess, as he has stepped up big thus far during his senior season. The dual threat diced them up with his arm this week and continues to put up impressive numbers every game.
