We start our preview by taking a closer look at the Farmington offense. Over the past two weeks, the Cardinals have been on a roll. After a strong 2021 season, [player_tooltip player_id='157343' first='Cameron' last='Vanzant'] has the Farmington passing game putting up big numbers to start the 2022 season. The Farmington signal caller was accurate and did a good job of spreading the ball around to his wide receivers. We have seen over the past few weeks Luke Elsik earn some time at the running back position to keep the defense off-balance. Wide receivers Peyton Funk and Lawson DeVault give the Cardinals big play threats at the wide receiver position. Farmington has plenty of talent along the offensive line with [player_tooltip player_id='149539' first='Hunter' last='Marshall'] and [player_tooltip player_id='264719' first='Dawson' last='Triplett'] anchoring a talented offensive line.

Meanwhile, on the defensive side of the ball for the Cardinals. [player_tooltip player_id='220842' first='Cooper' last='Gardenhire'] has gotten of to an excellent start from the linebacker position and is a prospect to watch out for this season. One prospect to watch out for in this matchup on the defensive side of the ball for the Cardinals is Zach Ralston. Ralston had an impressive season in 2021 and has the potential to have a strong season this season.

The Rogers Mounties have averaged 49 points per game over the past two weeks. From an offensive perspective this is a dangerous team to contend with. Rogers signal caller [player_tooltip player_id='393021' first='Dane' last='Williams'] has displayed impressive accuracy and has shown he is not afraid to throw into some tight windows. Williams is not afraid to use his legs to pick up yards on the ground. Rogers running back [player_tooltip player_id='287977' first='Jacob' last='Jenkins'] is a threat to score from anywhere on the field. Jenkins has a nose for the end zone. The receiving corps is a talented unit with [player_tooltip player_id='193040' first='Graycen' last='Cash'] finding ways to get open and use his speed to create big plays. Look for the Mounties to mix the impressive rushing attack to go along with a dangerous passing attack.

Meanwhile, on the defensive side of the ball for the Mounties. Rogers has a talented edge rusher in [player_tooltip player_id='393031' first='Bennett' last='Tiner']. Tiner will not quit on a play and tends to use his speed extremely well. From the linebacker position, Ashton Alston uses his instincts well and is always in a position to make a tackle. In the secondary, keep an eye out for safety [player_tooltip player_id='248892' first='Mabry' last='Verser']. Verser does an excellent job of making plays on the ball and is a defensive back that can make plays in the secondary.

This is a matchup that is going to come down to watch defense can make the key stops. It should be a great game in Rogers on Friday and I look forward to being there.
