We had plenty of great games throughout the state of Arkansas. It is my favorite time of the week. On Saturdays, we look at the high school football prospects that helped light up the Friday night skies in the state of Arkansas. We have plenty of prospects to look at this week and a few new names make the prime-time players listing this week.

[player_tooltip player_id='214836' first='Donovyn' last='Omolo']-Quarterback-Conway-2024

The Wampus Cats are off to a terrific start to begin the 2022 football season. Conway signal caller [player_tooltip player_id='214836' first='Donovyn' last='Omolo'] has come into the 2022 season on a roll. Against Springdale on Friday night, Omolo was 12 of 14 for 286 yards and four touchdowns. Meanwhile, he made great use of his legs, rushing for 23 yards on four carries for a touchdown. Conway and Omolo all clicking on all cylinders and are going to be a tough team to beat this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='360170' first='Seth' last='Foster']-Running Back-Pea Ridge-2024

The Pea Ridge Blackhawks are off to a hot start in the 2022 football season. The running game has been impressive over the past few weeks for Pea Ridge. Against Huntsville on Friday night, running back [player_tooltip player_id='360170' first='Seth' last='Foster'] rushed 34 times for 151 yards and four touchdowns. Foster is getting going and I would expect a big season from the Pea Ridge running back. Keep an eye on Pea Ridge they are playing some good football right now.

[player_tooltip player_id='432437' first='Holt' last='Chappell']-Linebacker-Little Rock Christian-2023

Fresh off an excellent performance against Shiloh Christian. [player_tooltip player_id='432437' first='Holt' last='Chappell'] followed up his performance from a week ago with another strong performance against Lake Hamilton. Chappell racked up 18 tackles, one sack, and one forced fumble. If Chappell is not on your radar, my advice is to catch a game of his. Chappell is a linebacker that is always around the ball carrier and uses his speed well to bring down the opposing ball carrier.

[player_tooltip player_id='149577' first='Braylen' last='Russell']-Running Back Benton-2024

The Arkansas Razorback commit put on a strong performance on Friday night for the Benton Panthers. Russell is a running back that just knows how to make people miss. He has terrific burst and is dangerous in the open field. Against Sylvan Hills on Friday night, Russell had 10 rushes for 149 yards and one touchdown. Russell is just getting started and folks should expect a big season from the Benton running back.

[player_tooltip player_id='393021' first='Dane' last='Williams']-Quarterback-Rogers-2024

The Rogers Mounties and the Farmington Cardinals put on an entertaining battle in Rogers on Friday night. Rogers quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='393021' first='Dane' last='Williams'] had an impressive night throwing the football for the Mounties. Williams was 16 of 22 for 262 yards and 3 touchdowns. Williams has looked solid in all three games for the Mounties to start the season. Keep an eye on Williams and the Mounties this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='251315' first='Aiden' last='McHan']-Linebacker-White Hall-2023

[player_tooltip player_id='251315' first='Aiden' last='McHan'] is another linebacker that had an impressive night on Friday in the Natural State. He's a linebacker that does not quit on a play and will pursue the ball carrier relentlessly. Against Maumelle on Friday night, McHan had a tremendous night on the defensive side of the ball. He amassed 13 tackles, two tackles for loss, and one sack on the night for White Hall. Keep an eye on McHan, he's off to a great start this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='334925' first='Brycen' last='Hamilton']-Wide Receiver-Hackett-2025

One prospect that has been building momentum all offseason is Hackett wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='334925' first='Brycen' last='Hamilton']. The Hackett wide receiver caused plenty of headaches for the Panama defense on Friday night. Hamilton hauled in five receptions for 128 yards and three touchdowns. Keep an eye out for Hamilton he has done nothing but improve and I expect a strong season from Hamilton this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='304658' first='Dennis' last='Gaines']-Running Back-East Poinsett County-2024

[player_tooltip player_id='304658' first='Dennis' last='Gaines'] is a prospect that has flown under the radar over the past few months. Meanwhile, he is off to another strong start for East Poinsett County this season. On Friday night, Gaines exploded for 286 yards on the ground and three touchdowns. Both Gaines and East Poinsett County are going to be difficult to contend with this season. Expect strong seasons from both this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='149578' first='Bo' last='Williams']-Running Back- Shiloh Christian-2024

The state of Arkansas put plenty of talented running backs on display on Friday night. [player_tooltip player_id='149578' first='Bo' last='Williams'] had a terrific night for the Shiloh Christian Saints. Williams had 18 carries for 167 yards and three touchdowns. However, he made plenty of plays in the passing game as well. Williams had seven receptions for 153 yards and two touchdowns on Friday night. I expect Williams to continue to make plays in both the run and the passing game this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='178752' first='Hunter' last='Ferrell']-Quarterback-Bauxite-2023

Arkansas-Monticello has landed a terrific prospect in [player_tooltip player_id='178752' first='Hunter' last='Ferrell']. Ferrell has been on a tear the past couple of weeks for the Miners. On Friday night, Ferrell racked up 440 yards of total offense and five touchdowns. The Miners and Ferrell are going to be difficult to beat over the next couple of weeks. Bauxite is a talented team, and they have the potential to surprise some folks this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='386872' first='Tramond' last='Miller']-Wide Receiver-Drew Central-2025

One wide receiver that is putting up the numbers on a consistent basis over the past couple of weeks has been [player_tooltip player_id='386872' first='Tramond' last='Miller']. Miller has good speed and an impressive ability to create separation and get into the open field. On Friday night, Miller put up another impressive performance this week racking up over 200 yards receiving for Drew Central. Miller is going to continue be a wide receiver to watch out for over the next couple of seasons.

[player_tooltip player_id='240083' first='Jalen' last='Dupree']-Running Back-Malvern-2024

The Malvern running back has become a mainstay in the prime-time players articles over the past year or so. Dupree has the burst and ability to make people miss that scouts look for out of the running back position. On Friday night against Hot Springs, Dupree had 23 carries for 169 yards in the victory. Dupree is off to a hot start and the Leopards are dangerous when they mix the run with the pass.
