[player_tooltip player_id='110179' first='Drew' last='Rodriguez'] ATH 23' Sprague- Rodriguez will go down as one of the best to ever come out of Sprague and the CVC. He added another 4 TD's with 143 yards receiving in the 56-14 beat down of Beaverton. The Colorado St commit also made 10 tackles on D. He literally does everything.

[player_tooltip player_id='110209' first='Jordan' last='Fisher'] RB 23' Westview- As noted Fisher broke his own school record of 296 yards, rushing 30 times for 351 yards and 4 TDs, in the teams 49-39 loss to Wilsonville. The state's #1 RB is averaging 342 all purpose yards per contest, covering the first two games.

[player_tooltip player_id='110171' first='Sam' last='Leavitt'] QB 23' West Linn- Even in the loss the Washington St commit looked good, hitting on 18 of 28 passes for 399 yards and 3 TD's/1 INT. The Lions rushed 35 times for 72 yards, so they did not have a healthy balance of offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='147861' first='Luke' last='Leighton'] WR 23' Sheldon- I've been a big advocate of Leighton for a while. I think his combination of size and overall agility is super unique and impressive. On the night he showed how versatile he was catching 4 passes for 72 yards and 3 TDs, while making 9 tackles on D.

[player_tooltip player_id='207256' first='Tyler' last='Konold'] RB 24' Canby- This kid has been dominant dating back to last season. He was clutch once again on Thursday night, rushing 33 times for 252 yards and 3 TDs, in the teams 35-25 win over 6A Oregon City

[player_tooltip player_id='110180' first='Mark' last='Hamper'] ATH 23' West Linn It's only been 2 weeks but Hamper is the early favorite for POY honors. With the Lions run game shut down, Hamper went off again, catching 10 passes for 277 yards and 3 TDs in clutch fashion.

Hayden George TE/LB 24' Lebanon- One of the state's fastest rising recruits. The 6-4 225 pound tight end caught 3 passes for 128 yards and 2 TDs in their 22-16 loss to West Albany. He now has 4 TDs in the first two weeks and he can also play some D.

[player_tooltip player_id='205822' first='Payton' last='Roth'] RB 23' Jesuit- I had the 6-4 200 pound back listed as my breakout player of the year in the state of Oregon. He has shown why over the last few weeks, rushing 22 times for 224 yards and 1 TD, against a good Lakeridge team.

[player_tooltip player_id='157615' first='Blake' last='Baker'] QB 23' Clackamas/ [player_tooltip player_id='110237' first='Keontae' last='Johnson-Gibson'] 23' ATH- It was good to see Baker back after missing the season opener. He showed up in a big way, throwing 4 TDs with over 250 yards passing in the first half alone. Two of those TDs were caught by [player_tooltip player_id='110237' first='Keontae' last='Johnson-Gibson'], one of the state's top dual threat athletes.

[player_tooltip player_id='285886' first='JoJo' last='Harrower'] QB 25' Ashland- It was good to see the Grizzlies get the 41-38 win over North Eugene, as it's been a tough couple years going winless last season, with Harrower starting as a freshman. The 6-4 190 pound QB passed for 4 TD's in the victory.

[player_tooltip player_id='110201' first='Hogan' last='Carmichael'] QB 23' Summit- The 6-4 210 pound QB has a stock which continues to rise. He passed for 279 yards and 4 TDs in the 48-10 win over Thurston, as the Storm look like one of the best teams in Oregon regardless of classification.

[player_tooltip player_id='152328' first='TC' last='Manumaleuna II'] QB 24' North Salem /[player_tooltip player_id='270193' first='Erick' last='Gonzalez'] ATH 23'- As most know the Vikings don't really throw the ball. Manumeleuna made a nice case for changing that, hitting on 7 of 9 passes for 145 yards and 4 TDs. All 4 TDs going to one of the state's biggest sleepers in Gonzalez.

[player_tooltip player_id='271402' first='Austin' last='Rapp'] RB 23' McMinnville- The Grizzlies are an improved football team, with some talented young guys, and legit senior leadership. Rapp carried 11 times for 141 yards and 3 TDs against a bad Forest Grove football team. He has 5 TDs on the year, coming up 3 points short last week to Farrington HS out of Honolulu, HI.

[player_tooltip player_id='270083' first='Konner' last='Grant'] RB 23' Tigard- Grant runs with a unique combination of speed and physicality. He was way to much for Sandy to handle, adding 3 TDs including a 71 yarder in the 45-0 win.
