This past week, we have seen some young top talent performing extremely well on the gridiron. The number two ranked Brennan Bears came in to this week's game ready to make a statement with its top players. The number five ranked TAFT also had some players who have showed up and balled out as well. These young men have the skill set, size, and strength to compete with the best of them across the state of Texas! Some of these prospects will be playing at the collegiate level as well. Without further notice, let's take a look and analyze the top players from Thursday's night's game and see why they are a force to be reckoned with.

[player_tooltip player_id='121945' first='Ashton' last='DuBose']: 6'0 180Ibs/QB/ Brennan High School

Analysis: Aaron Dubose balled out this Thursday night. He showed that he possesses great poise in the pocket, delivering beautiful throws down the field while reading through his progression. Dubose has solid build, and has really good speed in the open field as well. This young man does an excellent job improvising, and extending plays in the pass and run game to lead his team 55-14 video. Next, he did a really good job going through his progressions, and targeting open receivers, while dismantling zone defenses.

https://twitter.com/SecureTheBag24/status/1570596276521291776?s=20u0026t=1e2VpuE079ovWzSOuZVi8A

Aaron Dubose: 6'4 175Ibs/WR/ Brennan High School

Analysis: Aaron Dubose had a very solid game as well. This young man caught multiple touchdowns on the field to help his team get a victory. He was very physical at the point of attack, and put a defensive back on the ground while blocking down the field. Next, he did a superb job at running his routes correctly and getting open. This young prospect used his large hands and size to bully defenders and make great catches all over the field. He even caught some contested catches as well. Then Aaron Dubose has very good body control which allowed him to make difficult catches look easy!

https://twitter.com/SecureTheBag24/status/1570597071480311810?s=20u0026t=1e2VpuE079ovWzSOuZVi8A

Keelan Elder:5'11 170Ibs/ CB/ Brennan High School

Analysis: Keelan Elder jumped out to me on Thursday night unexpectedly! Elder has superb instincts when it comes to jumping routes, and being a ball hawk. He has a smooth back peddle, and he does an excellent job at keeping the receivers in front of him in zone coverage! Elder caught two interceptions, one in man coverage, one in zone coverage, and took one to the end zone for 45 yards. This young prospect has very good speed, and can tackle well. Look for him in the future going forward.

https://twitter.com/SecureTheBag24/status/1570597906356539392?s=20u0026t=1e2VpuE079ovWzSOuZVi8A

Jason Love: 5'9 175Ibs/RB/ Brennan High School

Analysis: Jason Love was another young talent that stuck out Thursday as well. Love runs with physical toughness, and does not go down on first contact. He broke lots of tackles, and did an excellent job at staying on his feet, while running with authority and balance! Jason Love showed great discipline and did his assignment each play. Next he also possesses good ball carry vision, and patiently waits for his blocks to set up so he can get the most out of his runs! Look for him to improve and become a future back for the bears!

https://twitter.com/SecureTheBag24/status/1570593486726107136?s=20u0026t=1e2VpuE079ovWzSOuZVi8A

TJ Andrews: 6'2 185Ibs/RB/ TAFT High School

Analysis: Analysis: TJ Andrews was very effective for the TAFT running game. Andrews ran the ball with physical prowess. He runs with power, and welcomes contact all the time. Despite the stout Brennan Bear defense, Andrews still found a way to gain tough yards and put points on the board for his team! He did a great job breaking tackles and taking on multiple defenders to keep the chains moving. Andrews is a true workhorse!

https://twitter.com/SecureTheBag24/status/1570599776781205504?s=20u0026t=1e2VpuE079ovWzSOuZVi8A

[player_tooltip player_id='317956' first='Tremaine' last='Smith'] : 6'2 225Ibs/DE/ TAFT High School

Analysis: [player_tooltip player_id='317956' first='Tremaine' last='Smith'] played well, despite a tough loss to the bears. Smith does a really great job at setting the edge, and causing disruptions in the pocket. He, along with his defensive teammates were able to get Dubose on the ground in the backfield a couple of times! Smith does a superb job at using his hands to shed blocks too. This young prospect also makes sure to wrap up his opponent and make great tackles! He plays with a high motor, which is vital playing the edge position. Look for him to have a good season in 2022!

https://twitter.com/SecureTheBag24/status/1570568084901228544?s=20u0026t=1e2VpuE079ovWzSOuZVi8A

Elijah Cotter: 6'0 160Ibs/CB/ TAFT High School

Analysis: Elijah Cotter did made some good plays on Thursday as well. Cotter has a very smooth back peddle, did a good job breaking passes while being in one on one coverage. Cotter did a decent job tackling as well and played with toughness the whole game. He did a great job at getting his hands in the air in order to put himself in position to swat the ball, which is vital at the corner position. Despite the loss, Elijah Cotter has shown promising potential as a corner back, and will only improve with time! Look for him going forward!
