Many expected Rivers to have a big breakout season. He’s off to a hot start. He had a very impressive game against a solid Damascus offensive line. He was explosive coming off the edge. He was able to live in the backfield and be very disruptive. He was able to finish off the plays in the backfield as he tackled very well and didn’t let ball carriers break free.
Highlights
Dunathan had another dominant game. As a running back, he had multiple chunk plays. He displayed great vision and ran hard. As a linebacker, he was a force as he was able to force a turnover and make plenty of run stops. He looked like one of the top players in the state.

Dylan Minnick
Dylan Minnick
Minnick was a force for Walter Johnson. He is a violent player, this was on display from the opening kickoff. He was explosive as a bltizer and was able to shoot gaps and blow up plays. He forced multiple fumbles and made multiple plays in the backfield. He also displayed athleticism and good range.
Mac Healy
Mac Healy
Healy had a strong game. He needs to improve his speed off the ball. However, when he gets his hands on defenders he is able to control them and do what he wants. He did a good job of winning inside position. He also did a good job of finishing off his blocks.
Michael Nwaogwugwu
Michael Nwaogwugwu
Nwaogwugwu had a fantastic game. He was very active in pass coverage. He was able to come down with an interception and had some pass breakups. He is a deep safety that keeps everything in front of him. He also has the ability to come downhill and make a play on the ball.
Berry was as explosive as ever. He was dangerous as a return man, as a receiver, and out of the backfield. He showed breakaway speed. He also showed how elusive he was as Damascus struggled to tackle him in open space. He had multiple big plays.
