The Madison Ridgeland Patriots are considered to be one of the top 10 programs in the State and play as such. This past week White threw for over 360 yards and 3 touchdowns in one game all the while completing 74% of his passes. His ability to read the defenses and make great decisions with the football. This team he will be facing will be sure to send pressure and employ sticky coverage in order to stifle John's production. If John can play well despite the elevated circumstance his team has a great chance of winning.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p> <strong>Alex Hillhouse,</strong> 6-0 195 DE, DT Class of 2023<br>Alex Hillhouse has been a constant disruption in both the run game and passing game this year. Alex has already recorded 6 sacks for the season and a near 50 tackles. His versatility paired with his speed and power put him in the right place at the right time to be influential in many plays and in turn many games. In order for the Madison Ridgeland Patriots to be victorious on Friday night, Alex will need to be at the peak of his game getting multiple tackles and stops. This was Paxton's best game in regards to yards but in regards to completion percentage, this performance has been in line with most other contests. In other words, Paxton is an extremely accurate quarterback. His composure in and out of the pocket has led to him being one of Mississippi's top 10 quarterbacks as he aims to end the season on a high note. His opponents however will be scheming to make Paxton as uncomfortable as possible. If Thompson can do well in the face of adversity it would really be a testament to his ability. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Duncan Mathews,</strong> 5-8 175 OLB Class of 2023<br>Duncan was flying all over the field last Friday making tackles on a regular basis. In last week's contest alone Duncan recorded 5 solo tackles and 9 assists for a total of 14 tackles. This performance puts him at 55 tackles for the season showing how impactful he has been in every contest. For Jackson Prep to leave this contest with a W Duncan will need to be very disciplined in both his run fits as well as his pass coverage responsibilities. Whichever QB can make the most correct reads and decisions will put their teams in the best position to win the contest. Additionally, the leaders of the defense need to rally their efforts together in order to stop the other team's potent offenses.
