Kearney @ Grand Island
Grand Island and Kearney are destined to play each other. In a tight district and with the 4-1 record of the Islanders and the Undefeated 5-0 record of the Bearcats you can see why. Kearney and Grand Island have a dichotomy where Grand Island’s rush based offense goes up against the pass based offense of Kearney. The Islanders average about 252 rushing yards per game and the Bearcats average about 194 passing yards per game. Both teams defenses will have to play an amazing game to take down the other and I cant way to see it.

Bellevue West @ Gretna
This is one of the most anticipated games of the 2022 season. Now I’ve said that a few times but sometimes you don’t get matchups like we have this season. Gretna has owned their schedule minus the close game against Creighton Prep. Gretna has been on a long streak and are aiming to win another state title. Bellevue West has been a traditionally class A power house and they have also had a good season but they have a way harder schedule. Bellevue West averages about 355.5 passing yards per game, Gretna avergaes 197 per game. Gretna wins the rushing yard battle averaging 194 yards per game 52 yards more than the Thunder Birds. Both of these teams control their destiny and have some of the best players in Nebraska playing for them.
