THE RAIDERS
If you have followed football long enough in the Sunshine State, you already know the rich history of this program.
Standout players, quality coaching and fan support that was second to none. But things began to change – and a trip to the “Muck” was not as daunting as it once was – and while there have been some greats who have walked the hallways of the school and have played football, it is for now a distant memory as the Raiders try and rebuild what was once a program that was the blueprint in Florida.
With a few coaching changes along the way, that stability, which was once a trademark, had disappeared and the lure of playing for this program was not as vital as it once was.
The question around this area of Palm Beach County remains: “what will it take to get this program back to where it once was”, and while many try and search for answers, this is for now a .500 team that is searching for that powerful identity.
With a number of talented young men on the roster, 2022 could be a season that the light starts to appear at the end of the tunnel, but for now, the program remains a work in progress.
