Cole Luekenga – Kuna QB
Luekenga continues to show why he was one of the top returning signal callers in the 5A SIC this year. A strong arm quarterback who plays with a different level of toughness at the position, he has been able to rack up yards through the air this yea. This week was no different as he went 31-39 for 324 yards and two touchdowns in a big over time win over Borah.
Daniel Carrillo – Nampa RB
Carrillo might not be the biggest football player on the field but the senior from Nampa has something that other players wish they had and that is make you miss in a phone booth ability. He is one of the hardest guys to get down and this week showed that. He rushed for 126 yards and 3 touchdowns in a win against the Braves of Boise.
Tyson Fox – Vallivue RB
Fox put together one heck of a game this week as the man rushed for 331 yards and three touchdowns to help Vallivue score 24 unanswered against Skyview in the victory. The big back is one of the toughest downhill runners in all of the SIC. He also has good speed in order to take it the distance if you give him the opportunity.
Gabe Shaffer – Melba RB
Shaffer was able to keep the Melba training rolling this week as he rushed for 200 yards and 3 touchdowns in the dominating win over Orofino. The running back did it every which way for Melba as he continues to have a solid year. Look for this back to keep things going on the ground.
Carter Woodland – Notus RB
Woodland ran for 247 yards and three touchdowns in a win over Clearwater Valley as the running back was able to dominate the game with his legs. Showing a ton of burst along with making defenders miss Woodland was the top player on the field all night.
