QB Brad Birch Brad Birch 6'0" | 190 lbs | QB Gateway | 2024 State PA is known for slinging the ball but it was his legs that did the most damage vs Woody High. Gateway will take on winless North Hills Friday, while Woody High travels to Penn-Trafford (1-1).
The throws that Birch completed looked precise with good technique. Birch led Gateway with 2 rushing TD’s on the night.
Chris Livsey
Chris Livsey
Livsey has good speed and fluid hips. He is good at press bail technique in cover 3 coverage. He is patient in press man technique & has the speed to stay in good position. He is competitive defending passes but could work on his pad level when starting plays. Returned a pick-six 49 yds for a score from the CB position.
Dallas registered an INT in the Gator win vs the Wolverines. Harper played center field well during his INT. He also exhibited good ball skills by defending the ball at the highest point. Dallas also did well at WR sitting down in the holes in zone coverage.
Looked physical in press man at CB. He showed the ability to defeat blocks & make tackles behind the L.O.S. A couple of his catch & runs on Friday regressed in explosion from week 1 to week 2.
Matt played with good effort & physicality on both sides of the ball. He was in on a couple of sacks and displayed a good motor in pursuit.
Looked good tracking the ball laterally in run pursuit. Remy displayed sound LB instincts and play recognition. He played with good physicality and also assisted on a sack.
Matt Johnson
Matt Johnson
Matt intercepted QB Brad Birch Brad Birch 6’0″ | 190 lbs | QB Gateway | 2024 State PA giving the FBS recruit his first of the year. Johnson displays good hips on film from his junior season at Safety. He isn’t super quick twitchy but has decent quickness. He assists well in run support, but MJ has room to improve on the physicality front.
