Since it’s still early in the season I thought it would be fun to throw some names out there for you to watch. All of the prospects are either in the class of 2023 or 2024.
Tracy’s name should be ringing out way more than it is presently. He had a dominant game to open the 2022 season, scoring 4 TDs, & also had 1 INT & 1 sack. He is an athlete that more colleges should be paying attention to. He currently has two FCS offers, but his ability looks FBS to me.
Cam does have one FBS offer from Akron, but if he plays like he is capable that number will rise dramatically. The Junior will be on another loaded Penn Hills roster looking to win the WPIAL. Cam is a coach’s son that loves to compete & I suspect that he will do just that in 22′ .
Mike Evans
Mike Evans
Last week the Jr QB went 13/22 309 yds & 4TDs, 0 INTs in a hard fought loss to Penn-Traford. Mike is the son of a football coach & you can tell from his poise. He can make all the throws and plus he is ultra competitive. He has a strong arm coupled with good footwork in the pocket. Evans keeps his eyes downfield & successfully goes through his progressions. He knows when to put touch on the ball & also when to rifle it. Mike is primed to breakout & establish his dominance as one of the best QBs in western Pennsylvania.
On offense Jamaal is a hard running, elusive, patient RB that runs the ball with vision & balance. He is a punishing runner that has the speed & 200 lbs frame to match. Defensively, He is a tackling machine at LB wreaking havoc everywhere. He is great at blitzing & punishing anyone with the ball in their hands. He has 2 FBS offers (Army, Navy)but that number should grow before the end of the season.
The Hampton All State receiver opened up his 2022 campaign impressively. He’s currently receiving interest from FBS, FCS & D2 schools alike but has no D1 offers to date. In week 1 Benny went 4/115 yds & 2 scores & led Hampton to a victory. Benny runs sharpe skilled routes, has great hands & is an extremely hard worker in and out of season. Keep an eye on one of the most consistently productive WRs in the state.
