3A Offensive Spotlight: Week 5

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='172599' first='Conner' last='Willis'] - Quarterback - Barton High School</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Conner has the ability to be one of the best under rated quarterbacks in the state. Willis is a Junior this season and is getting the reps he needs to develop into an elite passer. He has the vision to look downfield but also the awareness to scramble outside of the pocket. Conner is able to set the tone for the game with beautifully placed deep balls consistently and has the ability to pass in the short game. All around Willis is a phenomenal Quarterback.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Maddox Noel - Quarterback - Lavaca High School</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>When you make the conversation about a quick and shifty player, Maddox Noel is that. He has the vision to make great reads in the option game and he also knows how to break tackles downfield. Noel has the speed to get out of the pocket and to outrun his opponents. Noel is on track to have a great rest of the season and to develop as a player. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='334925' first='Brycen' last='Hamilton'] - Athlete - Hackett High School</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Brycen is a sophomore this season and has much room to grow and develop as a player overall. Hamilton is tall and fast. He has a number of games with over 100 yards receiving. He leads the receiving core and has much room to grow. His hands are great and his stats are even better with how fast he can get off the ball and how he out plays his opponents.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Rhett Ledbetter - Quarterback - Gurdon High School</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ledbetter is a great quarterback under center for Gurdon. Rhett, last week, was named player of the game against Murfreesboro. Rhett is a sophomore this season and has plenty of time to develop his arm during his high school career. When I watch his tape I notice that one he's young, and that he's fast, agile, and knows how to roll out of the pocket and dart the ball to a receiver. He's going to be an issue for teams the rest of his career at Gurdon.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='185420' first='Cooper' last='Spradlin'] - Offensive Line - Hoxie High School</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Cooper is a senior this season and has an offer at University of Arkansas at Monticello (UAM). Spradlin is a big body in the middle and can play both center and guard. He has great footwork and vision in his pass protection. In his run blocking he knows how to work his feet and dominate defenders off the ball. He is a dominate force to be reckoned with and has bright career ahead of himself. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
