2A Top Performers Week 1

Be sure to keep us informed and knowledgeable on who had incredible performances.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2><strong>Peyton Aldridge, QB, Potts Camp</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Had 15 carries for 136 yards and three touchdowns in the Cardinals 28-22 win over Falkner. This guy is going to a do a lot of running the ball this year. Be ready for him to keep those legs rolling. It will be interesting to see how Potts Camp season unfolds.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='347065' first='Jermarj' last='Bell'], WR/DB,Northside </strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Had two touchdowns and an interception last Friday. This is a guy that reminds me of Rufus Harvey that plays for Miss State. A smaller athlete with a very big heart who will thrive off of quickness, intelligence and toughness. His name will be mentioned in this section all season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2><strong>Carlos Hickman, RB, Union</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Had 17 total tackles, five tackles for loss and three sacks in the Yellow Jackets 32-22 win over Choctaw Central. Man was he all over the field. Kid here has a high motor and knows how to find the football. He is a guy that can read keys very well. That results with him having a lot of tackles. He could break 100 tackles this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='108937' first='Ty' last='Murphy'], QB, Eupora</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Had 209 yards rushing with three touchdowns in the Eagles 33-28 loss to Nettleton. Eupora likes to run with their QB so look for this guy's name to be mentioned a lot this season. He may not have many passing plays, but you can count on him to put up a lot of numbers on the ground. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='350948' first='Caleb' last='Cunningham'], WR, Choctaw County</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Caleb was doing all that he could to help his team win Friday night. He caught a TD pass with three defenders on him and ran one in from 13 yards out. This kid has been very hot this off-season. He is ranked as a top 3 receivers on 247 and On3. He also was recently named to the Under Armour All American Game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='380571' first='Javien' last='Jackson'], LB, Winona</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Javien had 6 tackles and a forced fumble Friday night. His forced fumble was important because it stopped Choctaw from getting in the redzone and scoring. He stepped up big Friday and made some key plays on their defensive line. The junior has been working hard to make sure he is ready for this season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
