There have been a few platforms that already released their top 100 recruits in the nation. Two of the guys were ranked on three different platforms. This class is loaded with talent and it looks like the nation is catching on. Let's check out these players.

[player_tooltip player_id='350948' first='Caleb' last='Cunningham'], Choctaw Co, WR

Caleb has been named a four star on 247, On3 and Rivals. He is a top 15 ranked prospect on each of those platforms. That does not surprise anybody in his community. Fans are how I was able to hear about [player_tooltip player_id='350948' first='Caleb' last='Cunningham']. Soon as I arrived to their game vs East Webster last season everybody immediately told me to watch our for [player_tooltip player_id='350948' first='Caleb' last='Cunningham']. He was only a freshman at the time. I was able to witness him make very acrobatic catches. The more he develops as a route runner the higher his grading will go. He performs at a high level in three different sports. That says a lot about his athleticism.

Jarcoby Hopson, Jr, FS, Lake Cormorant

Jarcoby Hopson has been ranked nationally on On3, 247 and Rivals just like Caleb. He is a big safety that had a very good season for the Gators last year. Hopson plays the middle of their defense very well. He makes it a lot easier on his offensive line when they need some extra time to get to the QB. I haven't seen him in person so my evaluation of him is only based off of his film.

Jarcoby Hopson looks very good when you watch his highlights. He has a smooth back pedal and he reacts very to plays very well. He also doesn't mind coming up to make a tackle. His size helps him do that with ease.

[player_tooltip player_id='350938' first='Andrew' last='Maddox'], DL, Oak Grove

[player_tooltip player_id='350938' first='Andrew' last='Maddox'] was on the Rivals top 100 2025 prospects list that was released today. He is a lot to handle down in the trenches. Maddox is 6-5 and around 270. Offensive linemen have to be very fundamentally sound in order to keep up with him for four quarters. His hands are very quick and he does not waste time getting blockers out of his way. He does a good job of staying disciplined on running plays when the ball is going away. He does a very good job in their pass rush as well. He can make the quick moves on stunts while attracting linemen to him, allowing LBs to slide right past. I think he will be a guy that remains in the top 100 two years from now. He has multiple P5 offers.

[player_tooltip player_id='350936' first='Reginald' last='Vaughn'], DL, St. Joe

Reginald was named to the top 100 2025 prospect list. He already holds offers from LSU and Mississippi State. Reggie is a 6-3 250 guy that looks like he can pack on some more weight. Reggie is a defensive linemen who also has to turn around and play offensive line. That helps him understand how to attack the line more, but I think that may have taken away from some of the time we get to see him on defense. Give this kid a full season of playing on defense and he will put up big numbers. He has to help his team the best way he can and we all understand that.

[player_tooltip player_id='306335' first='Emile' last='Picarella'], QB, St Joe

A lot of people have been shocked that Picarella didn't make the cut on 247, On3 and Rivals. That's just going to make him work harder to continue to show what we all of us in MS already know. Emile was ranked as the 98th player in the nation. His father immediately told me it was earned and not given. This young man is a pro style QB that is going to be big time on somebody's campus. QBs are very underrated in MS. Having Emile make this list will show people that they need to head down south and check out some of our QBs. Emile has a very smooth style and a lot of arm strength. He also knows how to put touch on the deep ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='350918' first='Deuce' last='Knight'], QB, George Co

[player_tooltip player_id='350918' first='Deuce' last='Knight'] did not make the cut on any list, but he was mentioned amongst those who did. Knight is a tall guy who may be 6-5 by now. He has the ability to escape the pocket and pick up yards with his legs. He's a left handed guy that knows how to make it happen. I love to see him on the move making plays. He knows how to throw his receivers open as well. He will crack the top 100 in his class before the 2025 signing day.
