There is some serious talent in the South Carolina Independent Schools Association, and we wanted to highlight a few of them that made a leap into our Fall update:

[player_tooltip player_id='89346' first='Hudson' last='Spivey'], Pee Dee Academy

Spivey excels in the quick passing game and can make a quick slant turn into a touchdown. He has a nice spiral on the throw to where only his receiver can get it. But what was most impressive in watching his film was his ability to truck defenders and pick up yards on the run.

[player_tooltip player_id='443494' first='Zihaire' last='Jackson'], Porter Gaud

Good luck to anyone trying to defend Jackson on defense. He'll flex out at receiver in his tight end position and make catches streaking down the middle of the field or out in space for a touchdown, like we saw on his film. He can also come up and make tackles in the hole at linebacker.

[player_tooltip player_id='262691' first='Matt' last='Warren'], Trinity Collegiate

Warren is another strong, physical tight end who makes it look like he's a receiver, which is why he's so difficult to defend. He runs his routes with precision and demonstrates his physicality with blocking downfield and making tackles in space on defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='262434' first='Juels' last='Huntley'], Florence Christian

If you're going to start in a double wing option offense, you'd better be ready to absorb some contact and get tough yards. That's what Huntley displays every time he touches the ball. He can turn a 4-yard gain into a 10-yard touchdown run, or turn the corner and get extra yards.
