In that article, I ignored the players who have already found themselves on our rankings. Today, we’ll focus on those guys. The guys on this list will rise in our rankings with more performances similar to Friday.
I very nearly put Bridges’ quarterback, Daylin Lee Daylin Lee 6’3″ | 190 lbs | QB Shelby | 2023 State NC , on this list, but ultimately decided to highlight the shifty receiver this week. The reason is that just two weeks ago, I’d mentioned that Bridges had broken out this summer but would need to prove it on the field before he climbed too high in the rankings. One game in and it looks like he could be moving up. A 10-catch, 181-yard performance has the tendency to do that.
Green put up solid numbers last year for Cabarrus (A co-op program between Cannon School and Concord Academy) but may have had his best game ever in his junior debut. The big-bodied quarterback put up over 400 yards through the air on a 74 percent completion rate. He spread the ball around nicely and has some of the tools needed to succeed at the next level.

Baldwin had a strong summer and buoyed that into a huge season opener. The senior was unstoppable, running for nearly 300 yards and scoring four times in a 34-28 win over Metrolina Christian. The senior back showed his trademark balance and vision en route to a 10.9-yard average. He still doesn’t have the offer list he likely deserves, despite being on the radar for more than a few D1 powers.

While he was more of a hybrid player last season, Shaw put on weight this offseason and is settling in nicely to a full-time linebacker role. The junior is a tackling machine and found himself constantly in the opposing backfield Friday, notching 18 stops. His game film is great and he flew all over the field. I’m expecting big things from our top-ranked linebacker in the 2024 class.

We have Williams listed as an athlete, and for good reason. In his debut at running back, Williams put up big numbers on limited touches, averaging over 26 yards a rush. He scored twice and racked up three tackles on defense as well. In my opinion, he projected best as a secondary player at the next level and I’m curious to see how he continues to adjust as the year progresses.
