Carson Shrader
Carson Shrader
Shrader tore it up at The Big House in what was a statement victory for Brighton. 218 yards against a team such as Fordson is outstanding, and the way he did it was impressive.
I love how Shrader followed the play, attacked the hole, and trusted his offensive line. The blocks set up for Shrader were absolutely stellar! He was also a force in the passing game. I’m extremely interested to see how he’s utilized in the future, and if he can repeat his Week 1 performance against Salem.
18 rushes, 160 yards, 3TDs, 8.9YPC.
That’s normal Timmy Kloska Timmy Kloska 6’0″ | 220 lbs | RB Grand Rapids West Catholic | 2023 State MI . He looked as explosive and as powerful as ever in West Catholics win against Edwardsburg. Kloska was patient and followed his blocks while breaking many tackles with his immense power. Better yet, Kloska is a two-way player and posted 11 tackles + a sack on defense.
Highlights
16 carries, 124 yards
Granden was a key part of an extremely balanced Seaholm offense. Always fighting for extra yards, Kinnie played a physical game on a noticeably improved Maple offense.
Highlights
21 Carries, 161 yards, 2TDs
I love how Ashor performed against Fraser! He’s a twitchy back with a quick juke he uses often. Even when the play breaks down and there’s defenders in front of him, he’s able to snake around them while still sprinting ahead, rather than juking and moving only laterally. I love the speed, I love the jukes, and I love the no-quit game Ashor plays.

DeYoung had a whopping 38 carries in Gobles win over Marcellus. I love the workhorse mentality of DeYoung and this small-town program. He has great balance and always kept his feet moving forward.
32 carries, 237 rush yds, 3 TDs, 3 rec, 60 yards, 1 TD
The Michigan Commit makes it look easy. The speed, the power, the IQ is elite. With Dexter’s more balanced offense with an upgrade at QB, I expect Cabana to be even more dominant. Looking forward to seeing him continue to dominate.

23 carries, 205 yards, 2TDs
McCaig had the most impressive game I saw out of any RB this week. He’s a hard downhill runner that demonstrated elite balance, allowing him to break nearly all weak tackle attempts. Although his team lost, McCaig was the focal point of the offense and was responsible for all the team’s points. If McCaig can keep this up, he’ll be gaining college attention very soon.
