West at American Fork
The Panthers and Caveman face off in the first matchup between two top five teams in our rankings this season. West is undoubtedly ready to shake off their 42-point loss to Mater Dei, while American Fork looks to keep their undefeated start to the season. Look for Caveman defensive linemen

Corner Canyon at Bingham
The Charge and Miners meet in another matchup between two of the top 10 teams in 6A. Corner Canyon has not lost two consecutive games in a long time, but Bingham will look to change that Friday night. This matchup also features one of the week’s best quarterback battles with

Riverton at Cyprus
The 1-1 Silverwolves travel to take on 2-0 Pirates in a battle between two top 20 teams in 6A. Cyprus squeezed out a two-point week two win over Highland 16-14, and a win vs. Riverton could vault them into our top 10. The Silverwolves scored 13 points in the second quarter vs. Dixie last game but were shut out in the second half and thus wound up losing the game 17-13. This week look for Riverton running back Luke Perri to control the game on the ground, while Cyprus also has a strong chance to do just that with an offensive line led by

Copper Hills at Viewmount
The 1-1 Grizzlies are set to take on the 2-0 Vikings in what should be a fun matchup. Copper Hills is averaging 38.5 points per game through two weeks, while the Vikings have held their first two opponents to under 16 points. One of these is going to give in a game that features Viewmount linebacker Ryan Lockhart and Copper Hills running back Nate Kitchen.
Desert Hills at Spanish Fork
The Thunder, the top team in 4A, head up to Spanish Fork to take on the Dons. Deseret Hills has gutted out two one-score victories to start the season and has another tough test on Friday when they take on Spanish Fork. The Dons started the season strong but suffered a tough loss to Crimson Cliffs in week two. Spanish Fork receiver Teni Worthen has 150 yards through two games, and Deseret Hills running back Tyden Morris has already rushed for over 230 yards, meaning this one could be a high-scoring contest.
