He has a quick release, can throw on the run and is dangerous when operating outside the pocket and scrambling. He has elite open field speed, a very explosive short area burst and can track the ball well and make contested catches downfield while a threat to score with the rock in his hands. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>QB Omari Baker, 2023 </strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Baker had a productive off-season this Winter and Spring and showed that he is one of the most talented signal callers across Northern California. He can take off if needed when scrambling outside of the picket, but has a strong arm downfield with nice touch when throwing over the top and keeps his eyes downfield while feeling pressure in the pocket. Still developing mechanically, his arm strength and spin on the ball more than make up for it and Baker is always a threat in the run game as well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"style":{"typography":{"fontStyle":"normal","fontWeight":"700"}}} --> <p style="font-style:normal;font-weight:700">DL [player_tooltip player_id='273593' first='Javonnie' last='Haymon'], 2024 </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Haymon is in line for a monster Junior season and is one of the best defensive line prospects Norcal has to offer in the 2024 class. He is very strong at the POA, twitchy for his size and wins with leverage, power and inside hands at the POA when playing the run and can violently get off blocks. In pass rush situations, he can go speed to power quickly and flips his hips to get vertical with a quick use of hands upon contact. He is a very good athlete that can play on either side of the ball and has nice natural size and is well built especially for his age.
