Currently, we only have three tight ends ranked in our 2025 rankings, all within our top-150 players overall. Additionally, to fulfill our five for ’25 tight ends, we went back into our database to find players we have yet to see enough of to fairly rank.
Before we get started, please be sure to share your tape or any 2025 tight end’s tape in the state of Pennsylvania as we look to add to our rankings in the future. Now without further ado, let’s get started with our five for ’25 tight ends.
Kumpon has a chance to develop into quite the tight end over the next few years. As a freshman at Malvern Prep, he showed quite an advanced understanding of the position. He’s got quality speed and looks to be a great athlete as well. Not to mention his 230 bench and 400+ pound deadlift as a freshman is quite an impressive feat in itself.
Highlights
At 6-foot-4, Gelatko already is entering ideal size for a tight end and still only being a rising sophomore makes it all the more impressive. There’s a good chance he could push close to 6-foot-6, 6-foot-7 by the time he’s done growing. He had a limited role as a freshman but should see that expand this upcoming fall for Marian Catholic. On the field, everything checks out, as long as he can keep his athleticism as he continues to grow, there is a lot of promise in Gelatko.
Highlights
Sapos is similar to Gelatko in that he already has great size and there’s quite a bit of projection needed in scouting his game. We’ll be looking for Sapos to gain a bigger role in McKeesport offense this upcoming season and to take advantage of that additional playing time.

It’s hard to find tape on the Cowanesque Valley standout but his size is promising and a freshman he was among the state’s top contributors. A tremendous athlete, Good players in football, basketball, and track for the Cowanesque Valley.
Koby Shepard

We’re hoping to eventually find tape of the Cameron County tight end but have yet to be able to do so. That being said, per MaxPreps, Shepard recorded 10 receptions for 112 yards in 2021 which was among the top for all freshmen tight ends.
