The receivers listed below all performed extremely well during opening week, and they are all off to phenomenal starts to their respective seasons. The following analysis breaks down their performance, and provides extensive insight to each receiver's game so that scouts and other members of our audience are more familiar with them.

2023 5'10 165 WR – [player_tooltip player_id='184009' first='Mekhi' last='Workman']– St. Frances Academy

[player_tooltip player_id='184009' first='Mekhi' last='Workman'] was an absolute playmaker during St. Frances' 20-13 victory over East Saint Louis this past weekend. He hauled in a massive sixty yard touchdown with 1:27 left in the 4th Q, which you can watch by clicking the link below, and it ended up being the game winner for the Panthers. Workman's name is rather ironic because he puts in so much work that he truly is a working man in every sense of the term. His top notch work ethic is certainly a major reason why he possesses incendiary speed and elite route running ability. [player_tooltip player_id='184009' first='Mekhi' last='Workman'] leads by example, and he always lets his performance speak for itself. Scouts nationwide should be on high alert that [player_tooltip player_id='184009' first='Mekhi' last='Workman'] is about to have a breakout season.

TD:https://twitter.com/mekhiworkman2/status/1564027342401544193?s=20&t=D8bGTe-IjAhZqDXp3snPgA

Highlights: https://t.co/bix5I7KG11

2024 6'4 190 WR – [player_tooltip player_id='172212' first='Elijah' last='Moore']– Good Counsel

[player_tooltip player_id='172212' first='Elijah' last='Moore'] has thrived in high school football since his Freshman year, but this year it's clear that he's ready to dominate. In Good Counsel's opening day win Moore scored a fifty two yard touchdown, and he made it look easy. He's clearly the #1 option for Falcon quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='249086' first='Frankie' last='Weaver'], and their chemistry as classmates, teammates, and friends is nothing short of spectacular. [player_tooltip player_id='172212' first='Elijah' last='Moore'] is in premier position to earn 1st Team All-WCAC honors this season, and it wouldn't surprise me in the least if he did. Every scout needs to know the name [player_tooltip player_id='172212' first='Elijah' last='Moore']. He's a next level talent, and he has D1 written all over him. Moore and the Falcons kickoff again this Friday @7PM Eastern against Baton Rogue Catholic.

Highlights: https://t.co/kjdI5MXDWZ

2023 6'2 185 WR – Jaylen Penn – Gonzaga

The Gonzaga Eagles are off to a blazing hot start to the season, achieving a dominant 37-14 win over a very experienced and well-coached Archbishop Carroll team. Gonzaga Senior wide receiver Jaylen Penn was extremely impressive in this contest, and he hauled in 5 receptions, 108 yards, and 2 touchdowns. Penn is without a doubt one of the primary options at receiver for the Purple Eagles, and as the season continues he is only going to get better. There's no doubt in my mind that Jaylen Penn will be one of the focal points for Gonzaga on offense this season, and I believe that his ceiling most certainly extends into the D1 level.

2023 6'1 180 WR – [player_tooltip player_id='247536' first='Sean' last='Williams'] – St. John's

Now that DJ Linkins has graduated, [player_tooltip player_id='247536' first='Sean' last='Williams'] is now clearly the #1 option at receiver for the Cadets. Both St. John's quarterbacks had their eyes locked on Williams consistently throughout the contest, and he was the unanimous go-to option on 3rd down. Even during the Cadets' undefeated season last year Williams was still one of the top options. While he won't always burn you with the deep ball, [player_tooltip player_id='247536' first='Sean' last='Williams'] possesses incredible route running skills and he always manages to find the open space. This St. John's team is too talented to let one loss slow them down, and for that reason [player_tooltip player_id='247536' first='Sean' last='Williams'] is primed for a big game this weekend @2PM Eastern at home in D.C.

Highlights: https://t.co/mmjbwcRN1c

2023 5'10 160 WR – [player_tooltip player_id='90669' first='Jamarr' last='Ebron'] – Archbishop Carroll

[player_tooltip player_id='90669' first='Jamarr' last='Ebron'] and the Carroll Lions faced a familiar foe in their WCAC rivals Gonzaga this past weekend. The Lions fell 37-14, but that didn't stop [player_tooltip player_id='90669' first='Jamarr' last='Ebron'] from having a huge game. Ebron posted phenomenal numbers with 4 receptions, 108 yards, and 1 touchdown. And, let's not forget, that's all as the #2 option behind Carroll's unanimous #1 [player_tooltip player_id='90682' first='Nyckoles' last='Harbor']. There's no way that the Lions won't be successful this season with the 52 man line-up that they have, but their receiving core, in particular, is very dynamic and has a lot of potential as the season progresses. [player_tooltip player_id='90669' first='Jamarr' last='Ebron'] is an integral piece of that receiving core, and we can expect nothing but fireworks from him this season. Ebron and the Lions square off against their DMV rivals McDonogh this Friday @7PM Eastern.

Highlights: https://t.co/pZ4CnE8tRN

The receivers listed below all performed extremely well during opening week, and they are all off to phenomenal starts to their respective seasons. The following analysis breaks down their performance, and provides extensive insight to each receiver's game so that scouts and other members of our audience are more familiar with them.
